Came through on my last minute order of 2 dozen jelly donuts, which were as good as they get on the west coast.(I prefer the east coast style granulated sugar coating on jelly donuts, but have yet to find that in the west – they all have a bit-too-sweet frosting, but that is not a complaint of Lee’s in particular.) Would gladly order from them again.

This is a true dive donut shop. I have going here off and on, more off than on, for years. The prices are reasonable I guess. .85−2.00 I think… 4.60 for four donuts I guess that’s average. So it is a lot of different people that visit from travelers to working commuters. I only go if I am on foot in the area or need a donut really bad which is about(nevermind bad point). I would try somewhere else but if you need to decide right this second then yea go ahead.

Pretty good donuts. Had the glazed twist. It was substantial where I like a lighter donut. But, its definitely worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood but not enough to drive across town for.

7.95 for a dozen. I bring these donuts to work and what I’ve noticed is that these donuts don’t leave you with that gross oil aftertaste. I’m assuming it’s because they clean their fryer out with more frequency than a lot other donut places I have gone to. They have sugar raised donuts and most placed don’t carry those either. Enjoy!

My friends live in this area and I looked at both Golden Gate donuts, and Lee’s. I went into Golden Gate first. I did not try them, but the donuts did not look that great. Very generic looking, did not look particularly fresh. Lee’s donuts were much better. They seemed to be cooked better, and looked much more fresh. got an apple fritter and holes, both were excellent. Lee’s was also a bit more tidy. I think Lee’s is better than Golden Gate down the street.

Best croissants ever! Turkey and cheese, ham and cheese, even ham, jalapeño and cheese. Their donuts are also quite good and they always have a few other pastries on hand. They also have ice cream, a decent selection of cigarettes and lotto tickets, as well as various juices. It’s right by Macarthur BART so the location is great, though sometimes the other customers are a little seedy and annoying.

When I was an infant my first spoken word was«Donut». While that may not be true, it communicates that I’m a huge donut lover. I can eat donuts every day, at any time of day. And I have been to many, many donut stores. Lee’s Donuts is a donut lover’s donut store. These are fresh, cake donuts, ready to be devoured and send you on a sugar rush! There are no frills here, just a good selection of cake donuts. And croissants and coffee. …and cigarettes and lotto.(and nachos?!). I have to compliment Lee’s as well for refusing to serve Chinese food.(One of the gross factors involved with competing donut stores in the area). And the owners are super awesome. Support your local donut store, and make a trip a bit further if you have to. Get your breakie at Lee’s Donuts!

Holy crap! Donuts and fake cheese nachos in one establishment?! Take me now Lee’s Donuts! Note: I recommend pairing their donuts with a fine scotch. It’s delightful.
