Le Soleil Day Spa

Love this place! The technicians are friendly and attentive. My sister had a ripped nail and her technician was very careful in patching it up. We even had a nice little hand and shoulder massage post-​mani.
The place is nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The prices are reasonable, and they don’t charge extra for OPI gel polish which is a huge plus! They also have a large selection of regular polish colors.

I love everything about this place. They are just so nice and friendly. I use both their nail services and waxing services .
I know they just went all organic and they raised their prices but I hope this doesn’t send people away. This place is a true gem. Highly recommend to all.

My new go-​to spot! The prices are fair, the color options are numerous, and the patrons are so, soo, sooo sweet! In addition to getting a nice nail job (toes are perfect, fingers are somewhat chipped, but it’s been 1.5 weeks), I like that you get a shoulder massage, and not just the normal leg/​foot/​arm/​hand massage. I will be coming back.

Had a great experience here. As a Preggo, I was happy to see that they carried two five free lines — Zoya and Sparitual. The techs who did my nails were great. I was super impressed with the length of the foot massage that came with the pedicure. As well as the length of the neck massage that came with the manicure. Service was fast, friendly and professional. The space was well ventilated.

These ladies are the best! I’ve been going to Le Soleil for years. Each time I try a new nail salon, I always go back to them. They are very hygenic and clean, curteous and never rushed if busy. I rarely smell all those toxic chemicals is the air of other nail salons, and now they’ve gone Organic.
Plus, its the first nail bar I’ve found that accepts AMERICAN EXPRESS!

Every time I go here I feel absolutely pampered, the staff is gracious and attentive! Definitely a great find that’s affordable.

I was really happy with Le Soleil. My friends and I made an appointment at another nail salon just down the street, however; when we showed up they were clearly packed and obviously hadn’t taken my reservation. We walked in to Le Soleil, which was cleaner, more spacious, and just generally nicer than the other place.
I’m really happy with the pedicure I got from Le Soleil and would definitely recommend them if you’re in the area and want a pedicure.

Just had a pedi from Hana. I LOVE it. The precision, massage — it was all excellent. I haven’t had a pedicure where someone cared that much about their work in a long time, if ever.

I am so relaxed after my visit to this place. The foot massage was awesome and my nails look great!

This salon is clean, customer service is great, and they don’t rush you through anything. They take there time and make sure you are comfortable. They are a little pricey but very much worth the money. A good nail shop is so hard to find because there are so many but this one is worth coming to.

Best nail shop in the bay! Superb service! Lant always does an excellent job with my nails. She’s a perfectionist and I appreciate her talent.

I usually come here because of the low prices. I sometimes get ingrown toenails on ym bigger toes, so I have to get them done every other month. The last time I went in for a pedicure, they made my ingrown toe nail worse, and ended up with an infection. So, I ended up going elsewhere.
I only recommend this place if you like low prices and a good massage, but not if you have problems with your toe nails.

Best shellac mani EVER! Wish I lived closer to make this my regular spot. Lan is a perfectionist that takes her time & does a fab job. She also gave me a great neck & shoulder massage. All the ladies are very sweet & happy. I’ll def be back!

I came in with my cousin over the weekend to get a mani and pedi. They go the extra mile and add in a few perks for the price we paid compared to other places. They rub your feet with a nice scented lotion and also give you a small massage. It was affordable. The nails look great and they did an excellent job taking their time to make sure the paint job was flawless. I may have excess dead skin on my feet. The lady scrubbed me, but I think it could have used an extra scrub. Nevertheless, I was satisfied with the service. This place is always busy and you may have to wait a few minutes but they will get to you in a reasonable time. Parking may be a little difficult depending on the time of the day, but you can park on the side streets and walk there.

I think I found my Nail salon! I love this place. It was my first time going there and the staff were extra friendly! I got a pedi and it was great. I’m also picky with colors and how my toes turned out but this place hit the spot! will be returning soon (:

Typical Asian-​owned nail salon, EXCEPT it’s more expensive. Also, they don’t do acrylic nails. I made an appointment ahead of time, and they helped me as soon as I got there, after the lady finished my pedi, she says thank you, and she just leaves me there. Everybody else is getting their nails checked to see if they are dry, and my lady, GONE, I had to ask a different employee to help me !
Never going back.

I have been here a few times and thought they did beautiful mani-​pedis. The women are very nice and do great mani-​pedis and the environment is pleasant. Nail polish often chips after one week but my pedicures from Le Soleil last for 2 weeks, at least.
I would have given them 5 starts except that when I got a mani pedi, I came home with a sore toe! It’s red and swollen around the cuticle and I can’t walk without pain. Also, the massage chair didn’t work according to the selections I made on the control panel so I couldn’t use it. Finally, I was disappointed with the rushed massage, which was not relaxing.
3 weeks later: my toe still hurts but I don’t think it was the pedicure. Time for an x-​ray. Also, the owner called to see if I was feeling better the following week! I really appreciated the effort to find out how I was doing.

Ended up here because femimacus was packed. Wasn’t too bad of a wait. Great gel manicure that came with a wonderful shoulder, neck, and arm massage. Will definitely come back!

This nail salon is clean and nicely decorated. It truly does have a day spa feel. I made a point to come here to get my nails did because their neighbor, Femimacus Nails, is always crowded. And I love to champion an underdog. This place looked pleasant enough, and I was rarin’ to burn all those smug ladies down the street by proving they just hadn’t given it a chance.
But the burn was to be on me.
My technician was nice, but my nails turned out really weird. The polish was precise, but I ended up with a variety of lengths and slants on all my digits. The end result was not attractive, and the process took a really long time.
Then I went to pay. With a credit card. And the owner chidingly told me she’d «let» me «just this once.»
Huh? If your business is cash-​only, what are the credit card stickers on the door meant to convey? (Ironically, I think acetate, which they presumably have vats of, takes adhesive off glass in a jiffy.) To be fair, I hadn’t noticed the small printed sheet of paper over the cash wrap that said something to the effect that attempts to pay with a credit card must be arranged in advance. So now I know the quirky policy. But I’m not keen to put that knowledge to use any time soon. I’d rather wait my turn for a better experience.

To all the ladies crowding up the «more popular» nail salon a few doors down — STAY THERE. I want to enjoy this piece of heaven all by myself.
I wanted to treat myself to a pedi in Glenview, and only came here because Femimacus was too crowded + there were 3 other women ahead of me. I walked to Le Soleil and to my surprise there was space and I was accommodated right away.
I can be pretty picky about pedicure services as I have eczema on my feet, so it’s hard finding that balance of someone knows how to scrub the right spot without opening a cut. This might’ve been the first pedi I had that didn’t hurt, so congrats there. Also, I really like their orange-​scented scrub — good stuff.
So how much does an experience like this cost? Quick accommodation in a nicely decorated space, good service, a great smell scrub, leg massage, hot towel wrap, etc? $ 20 freakin dollars.
Whaaaat. A good solid pedi for $ 20?!
Damn, I let the secret out. Now everyone’s gonna be here…
