Dr John Parke is very professional, he is ver carring and also sees thru people. He is a great therapist and inspires trust. He goes above and beyond to help in what ever he can.
He is very sensitive to people’s feelings and helps the soul heal by understanding the problem and help over coming it so that the healing process takes place.
I highly recommend him. He is amazing!!!

Have seen Dr. Parke as both an individual and a couple and can enthusiastically recommend him without any reservations. He is a great listener and has the ability to focus his work with you where it will be most productive. He is a caring, intelligent and highly ethical professional. On top of all that, he has a great sense of humor, which can be comforting when dealing with life’s challenges.

Dr John Parke PsyD. is a really fantastic therapist. Warm, calming, easy to talk to, and incredibly supportive. I was injured on the job and had lost another therapist because he could not deal with my claims adjusters demands. Then I found Dr Parke, and began treatment for PTSD.
He is dedicated in providing people who suffered trauma in returning themselves to a state of well-​being. He see’s people who are injured or suffered trauma as an underserved community and works tirelessly to provide care to them. He is quite knowledgeable about injures and medical conditions which helps him understand and support his patients. He is open minded too — surprisingly I have met many therapists who were conservative and narrow minded, Dr Parke is very accepting.

I am sincerely grateful to Dr Parke for all he has done for me. When most docs gave up and dropped me due to the stress of my insurance (and stress dealing with a PTSD maniac,) Dr Parke stood fast and held on through the bumpiest ride of my life. He has more then just patience — he has long standing strength to help others find healing, hope, and a way to move past terrible difficulties. He’s a great man. The ONLY hard thing for me was his office has stairs, at times I have been unable to walk or stay up on crutches very long. It was a something I was more then willing to work around to see such a caring and compassionate person.
NOTE: TO WORKER COMPENSATION patients — I am truly sorry but it’s not the providers’ fault you get denied. I’ve been in Work Comp care for 3 years. The system is more broken then the people stuck in it. Most providers really care and work to help you, but Work Comp is very restrictive. Public health care could eventually do away with worker comp, saving 70 billion a year, and opening up health care to injured workers who really deserve the best care. You need aggressive legal consul to be provided adequate care, and even then it takes many many months.

Dr. Parke recently conducted a QME review of my Worker’s Compensation Claim for Work Related Stress. I was impressed by his professional manner and what appeared to be a sincere interest in his patients. After the review, he told me that his report would confirm that the severe stress and depression I had been experiencing was indeed work-​related. However, I learned the hard way that he is not necessarily a man of his word and does not have the deep concern for his patients that I had initially seen. I phoned him (some four weeks after our session) to see if his report had been completed. He told me it had just been done and was sent to the firm handling my claim. However, he also told me that he had «changed his mind» since our meeting and found that much less than 51% (the amount required to meet Worker’s Comp criteria) of my stress was work related — hence my claim would be denied. The news sent me into a tailspin and I suggest anyone who consults him takes his words with more than a grain or two of salt. Bad job, bad outcome, bad personal results for me. And, if I hadn’t of called him for a follow-​up, I would have been even more negatively affected when I heard the official results of my claim.

I went to see Dr. Parke a year ago for 3 hypnotherapy sessions to change a behavior of mine. He is a very good hypnotherapist and the work we did together has taken root and flourished. I am very happy I went to see him. I also have taken some of his classes on Ericksonian hypnotherapy that he taught at HCH Institute. He is a great teacher and I learned a lot. If you have changes you want to make in your life, Dr John Parke is an excellent choice.

I took a class from Dr Parke in pain relief and hypnosis. I’m a hypotherapist and can say that he is extremely skilled with a very pleasant demeanor. I highly recommend him!

Dr. John Parke is just the best psychotherapist in my book. I have known him for many years and his multilevel technique abilities puts him far above the norm.
One of his most amazing abilities is to use hypnosis, which is not all that common in his field. As a Master Hypnotherapist myself, I can attest to his expertise in this field, and I have even attended classes he has presented on it. He has also taught hypnosis at the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy.
He is also very personable and so very easy to talk to. He also has a great sense of humor and that really helps a patient to be even more comfortable. I send all my clients to him who need more than hypnosis for their conditions. Every one of them reported to me how much they enjoyed their therapy with him and how he helped them so much. That is the best report coming from those who have had psychotherapy before. I highly recommend him!
