Business Owner

I’m a local guitar teacher in the Oakland, CA area. I originally started playing guitar as a teenager in St. Paul, Minnesota, and after quickly falling in love with the instrument, I ended up playing a variety of venues in the area, including the Fine Line, the Red Room, and the Quest (R.I.P.). Eventually, my time playing the instrument took me to Los Angeles and the Sunset Strip, where I spent the past six years, playing in bands and living my dream of performing in the same clubs that made many of my heroes famous. Opportunities have now led me North to the Bay Area, where after getting used to the colder weather and rain, this area has become my new home base.
