Decided to get a day of wedding coordinator for my wedding as my wedding venue did not provide one. My goal was to be the least stressed out bride on her wedding day and happy to say I achieved this goal! I owe a huge part of this to Justina. She’s very detailed oriented and was helpful throughout the whole planning process. She also provided me with great vendor suggestions, which I used at my wedding. A few examples of things I didn’t prepare for at the wedding but Justina helped with are: 1. We didn’t have a wedding rehearsal the day before, primarily because of the timing allotted at the Venue and the price of the rehearsal. Right before the wedding, while I was in the bridal room, Justina gather the whole wedding party and the parents to go through a quickie rehearsal. And everything turned out great! 2. Cake cutting. It might sound so simple to just go cut a cake but Justina was able to just talk us through the little details that really helped. If not for this, I don’t know how awkward our pictures might turn out. Overall, I highly recommend Justina for your wedding if you need a wedding coordinator!

My husband and I weren’t sure we needed a wedding coordinator, but we are so glad we hired Justina. Upon advice from friends we started looking at coordinators a couple of months before the wedding, after we had booked our venue and done most of the planning ourselves. We initially met with Justina at a Starbucks. She was professional, listened to our plans and answered our questions, and took notes. We felt like we could trust her and her affordable fees sealed the deal. Justina’s work schedule was flexible enough that she was able to meet me at the venue on a weekday before the wedding. We met for almost 2 hours and I explained how I wanted the decorations to go. Again, she listened, took notes, and asked clarifying questions. One thing we had not done was finalize the timeline for the day and she helped us plan that, thinking through the flow and how long each part of the day would take. Leading up to the wedding, she took the contact information for all our vendors and made sure she knew when they would arrive and what their needs were. Before the rehearsal dinner, we gave her all our decorations. On the day of the wedding, she got to the venue early and set up all the décor. She had two assistants as well who could set up the reception space while she focused on the chapel. During the wedding, everything went smoothly and it was so nice for my husband and I not to be worrying about the details. We could just enjoy our day. Also, we didn’t have a wedding party, which probably made it even better to have a coordinator. None of our friends and family had any major duties; they all got to celebrate as well. Justina also handed out vendor payments so my parents didn’t have to deal with that. They just put everything into envelopes and gave them all to Justina in the morning, and Justina made sure everyone got what they needed. At the end of the night, Justina and her assistants packed up everything and loaded it into my cousin’s car for us to pick up later. I would highly recommend Justina as a wedding coordinator. She was responsive and helpful with any emails or calls or questions we had throughout the process. She was affordable and professional. Hire her so you, your family, and friends can be worry-free on your special day!

Justina was my wedding planner for my wedding in August of 2015. She worked with me from the very beginning all the way to our big day(Which was about a year)! From helping us find our venue to helping us design our seating chart and everything in between, Justina handled everything like a pro! Not to mention our huge guest list of about 300! All I have to say is on the day of my wedding, she took care of everything! I honestly got to enjoy every minute of it! Justina even suggested an excursion to hit up on our honeymoon which we loved loved loved!(Outdoor adventures in PV) I would definitely recommend JL Events for your wedding! We felt relatively stress free throughout the entire wedding planning process because of her :)

I met Justina, when she coordinated a traditional with a Kenyan flare themed wedding. The place looked amazing and it might have been one of the most organized weddings I’ve been to. She kept everyone on track and organized, especially with time. It all flowed smoothly. The bride didn’t look stressed at all. Justina took care of everything.

Justina(JL Events) was the event coordinator/party room decorator for my 1920’s prohibition era speakeasy themed Murder Mystery party for my 30th birthday. I had hired Justina because I had no time to shop around for décor let alone create any props for the Murder Mystery part which I was hosting, she was very attentive to my needs and accommodating, her creativity really helped set the tone for my guests and basically transformed my home into the speakeasy I had envisioned it to be. I would hire her again for any event I need help with in the future.
