Meet the Business Owner
Jeff C.
Business Owner
After a past life in the hospitality industry for 13 years, Jeff began his wine adventure in 1996 at 34 after graduating from Fresno State University with a Masters in Agricultural Science and Enology. Experimentation was key to the wine making at Rosenblum and, in fact it was in that atmosphere that allowed Jeff to work with up to 50 different coopers sourcing barrels and different yeast types from all over the world as well as native yeast fermentations. During this time of growth, he helped design Rosenblum’s Rhôné program and isolated a Syrah yeast from the Rockpile Vineyard, where Jeff sources his Syrah, and it is in fact one of the largest selling yeasts for wine making today. Jeff left Rosenblum in 2006 to focus his energies on his own wines.
