Jain is active in her community and profession. She is currently president of the Laurel Business Improvement District and is a member of the Women Presidents Organization. Jain was honored with a «Local Hero» Award from the City of Oakland for her work with the Laurel District.

Her past community activities include serving on the Board of the Piedmont Education Foundation, the Board of Regents of Bishop O’Dowd High School, the Board of Trustees for The College Preparatory School, and the Board of the East Bay Rental Housing Association.

Financial literacy is one of Jain’s passions, and she conducts seminars on this topic for schools and community groups in the Bay Area. Recognized for her knowledge in insurance, Jain has been featured on Bay Area TV and radio.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and her MBA in Finance from Columbia University.

In her spare time Jain enjoys being with her family, playing golf, and learning bridge.

Outstanding! The service from Jain and her team has been the best. They are on top of everything and they answer every question promptly whether it’s by email or phone. I saved money over Farmers, who I’ve been with for years. I can’t complain about Farmers claims service in the past, but I wasn’t getting any interaction with the agents I worked with, whereas it seems I hear from Jain’s office regularly.

Jain has been my insurance agent for years. She handles the coverage for all my needs and saves me money whenever possible. I have very low mileage on my car so she told me how I can save on my car insurance. She always contacts me for periodic reviews to make sure I am getting the best possible coverage.
Her team is great to work with, always friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable.

This review is based on my interactions with Courtney. I called her yesterday to get an insurance quote for a new car. I had a previous policy with state farm in another city. She got my previous agent’s information and called them to check on the date of cancellation for the last policy.
She called me back and told me that it was too late to reactivate that policy and that I would need to start the entire process over with her. I obliged and she ran a quote for me that was DOUBLE what I had been paying. Then she did the hard sell on renter’s insurance.
I called my previous agent today and he informed me that I could have just reactivated my old policy for the same price. YESTERDAY was the last day to do that.
Courtney led me to believe I needed a new policy. She purposely misrepresented the facts to me in order to do business.
I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this office. They are not honest and are not out to do good business.

Jain Williams and her team have served me well. Entering into a new year, I wanted to make sure that my insurance coverage was were it needed to be. I called Jain’s office and explained my situation to a member of her team. There was no major complexity to my situation, but I did have a lot of questions. The person who helped me was sooooo patient in answering my questions and prompt in returning my phone calls. I was unable to go in during the traditional work hours but made an appointment to go in the day after Thanksgiving which was the most convenient time for me. Jain is knowledgeable beyond measure about all things insurance and I was comforted in knowing that I was working with a professional I could trust.
I will be referring clients, friends and family to Jain and her team.

Elaine Bryce contacted me about 9 months ago regarding an online lead she received. When we spoke at that time, my driving record made me ineligible for coverage through State Farm. She promised to reach back out to me once those incidents cleared from my record. To my surprise, she did!!! Jain Williams is an excellent insurance agent. I have used her for about 6 years now for Renter’s insurance, home owner’s insurance, car insurance and multiple riders for other personal items. I have also sent her many referrals who have always been satisfied! She always checks in to make sure I have the right coverage and to see if I need anything updated. We’ve known Jain Williams for years and have only wonderful things to say about her customer service focus and product selection. Recently, our young adult son moved into his first apartment and Jain provided his renter’s insurance, educating him about the importance of having this, and how it would protect him if anything happened to his building or his apartment. She also gently educated him on other products that might be useful to him, such as investment tools that she offers, and has helped him take steps to becoming a financial responsible young man. Everyone in the office is so friendly and customer focused; it is a real pleasure to be part of this business ‘family.’

These guys are great. I call the office and talk to a real person and their car insurance was the cheapest one I could find for my car. I don’t think I’ve ever actually met Jain, but I’ve talked to several of the receptionists or whatever their titles are (they sit at the desk right up front, there have been a couple of different people there) and they’re always very helpful. We have car, rental and personal article insurance through them. We also got event insurance for our wedding through them. Jain was even willing to sign a 401(k) rollover for me as a notary for free, even though it had nothing to do with insurance stuff. I just had to assure the receptionist that I didn’t need her to do anything except sign it :) No explanation of the paperwork or anything.
Anyway, they’re great! No plans to leave them any time soon.

My fiancé and I recently moved to San Francisco from Ohio. Being newbys to California, everything is a new process & it’s hard to make decisions on simple things like choosing a new insurance agent because there are so many options. I randomly came across Jain’s information, and after getting multiple quotes from other comapnies, I decided to go with Jain. I am glad I did because Jain comes across as genuinely caring for her clients as tho they are family. which is hard to come by! I look forward to many years being covered by Jain’s insurance.

Jain might work well for others. Not me. Maybe she didn’t want anything to do with me because I am simply related to one of her past employees. At least that’s how I felt although I was simply a client and ignored whatever relationship she had with that past employee.
On a strictly professional level, she never followed through with submitting necessary documents to complete a transaction.
For a second transaction I needed to process-​I wasn’t given all my options. Although she did instruct me to contact State Farm’s customer service phone line, the representative that I spoke to was much more informative, thorough and helpful. I even went with a 2nd better option that Jain had not offered or explain.
On a positive note, she can be friendly, and has many years experience.
I will be switching to a different agent.

So very helpful. Jain is a pro at explaining all the options for insurance. She is generous with her time and willing to answer my million questions. She is patient and not pushy. I have been a member with State Farm. for quite awhile now. With not only different vehicles, but different households.
