Meet the Business Owner
Rebekah Y.
Business Owner
Rebekah is a creator. She began her creative entrepreneurship at the young age of 24 when she bought a frame shop in Chicago. There she honed her skills working with customers, selecting the best colors and framing for their art. Her successful enterprise included Younger Gallery, which showcased emerging and international artists.
At the age of 32, she sold this business to move to California and follow her passion for fiber art. She began a knitwear company, featuring her designs of one of a kind wearable art, Younger Knits. These designs sold in galleries nationwide, were featured on magazine covers and included in two retrospectives in major museums on both coasts.
In 2008, in response to her growing interest in creating contemplative environments to showcase her videos and artwork, Rebekah formed her third arts related enterprise, inSite Contemplative Design, an interior decorating firm that works closely with the client to realize harmony and a feeling of home.
