I was traumatized from being stalked and harassed by a couple of crazy people. The ‘therapist’ I saw at heart in balance made all of my ‘symptoms’ much, much worse. A 30 year old child and ‘trainee’. Be very, very careful who you ask for ‘help’.

The website listed here seems to be the personal website for one of the therapists who works at Heart in Balance, FYI. It doesn’t represent everyone who works there. I see Jeanette Bakhsh, and I love her. I’ve been seeing her for almost two years now. I followed her from another counseling center, so my rate is lower than other people’s because she allowed me to keep my old rate. Otherwise I would’ve had to stop coming. I don’t know much more about the center in general, it just seems like a place where therapists rent rooms. It’s cozy though, and I like the little patio with all the plants outside.
But anyway, I recommend Jeanette! :)

Working with Joel was meaningful for me and my partner. We found a way to listen to each other, learn more about each other, uncover patterns and habits blocking us from really being close.
His open, compassionate, and non-​judgmental disposition made it easy for us to trust in sharing issues freely. We also had fun and enjoyed his enthusiasm.
