Maren began working with individuals, and families through a therapeutic NVC family camp model, and then through the running o her Holistic schools both in WA and Northern CA. She has been coaching, counseling and consulting more 1 on 1 for the last 4 years.

Maren’s background inspiration and skills come from over a decade of:

Compassionate Communication (NVC– with a colloquial bent) extensive immersive experience, leading groups, training staff, building community, mediating, planning full retreats & programs and mentoring teachers, parents, youth, care providers and more.

Masters level training in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Processing/​Programming @ NLP Marin)

14 years researching, educating, counseling and supporting children, families and practitioners in a individuated integrated, compassionate, human needs-​psychology-​based holistic, community oriented environment.

Full immersion & training in hands on Parenting– 20 years… ;) — «what more can I say? The quality of the relationship I have in this realm is among the most deeply insightful, rewarding and precious ongoing experiences on my life, bringing me again and again to a further state of joy, awe, humility, depth and self reflection that I could have ever hoped to achieve.
