This incredible woman got me through one of the hardest times in my life. Not only was she wonderful prenatally with advice and support for our planned home birth, but she stuck to my side like glue when I had to be emergently induced at 36 weeks due to fetal distress. Meadow got me through every woman’s nightmare labor with humor, support, and absolute strength. If I can recommend anyone to invite into your most intimate moments, this is the woman who will treat it as a sacred trust. She is a rock when you need someone to lean on at the hardest of times.
Meadow isn’t just a Doula, she isn’t even of this world. She has to be made of greater stuff than most people walking around, and I am so grateful she shared her wealth of knowledge and support with me.

I was initially dubious about using a doula, but now I cannot imagine giving birth without Meadow! Her prenatal visits were amazingly helpful and felt like a private class on labor, delivery, relaxation, and pain management strategies, and she filled in all the holes in other classes and books I had read. Intelligent, kind, and clear, she helped us frame the experience in a powerful way and support our goal of a natural delivery. And she went far deeper than just the basics of giving birth; she helped my husband and I get into a really good space and her coaching was incredibly useful when it came time to labor. She is exactly what you want in the delivery room, knowledgable, kind, respectful, and she facilitates a great working relationship with partners and staff while being a powerful advocate for the laboring woman. Meadow is a goddess sent from beyond — I am so impressed by her strength, wisdom, practicality and breadth of knowledge and cannot recommend her highly enough. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth it to use a doula I say YES, without a doubt! — if that doula is Meadow.

Meadow is a top notch professional who was my doula at the birth of my son. She did everything in her capacity to make my birth special including providing essential oils, sitz bath herbs, loaned books and hypnosis CD support for delivery, and gave lactation tincture all included. I highly recommend her to assist any woman’s delivery. She supported me 100% before, during, and after my delivery. You can count on her. I had a beautiful baby boy with her help, and she was of greater help to me than the Alta Bates Medical Staff. You cannot go wrong working with her.
