When you are grieving it is difficult to keep track of everything that needs to be done. Using Fouche’s Hudson Funeral Home really made everything easy. They were professional and delivered everything that they promised and more. I wish we didn’t have to go through this process at all, but being alive means that we will need the services that a funeral home provides. I highly recommend Fouche’s Hudson Funeral Home. Thank you for all of your help.

This is the second time that my family used Fouche’s. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!! The staff is very professional from the time they pick up your loved to planning the service! Very detailed oriented and the staff won’t pressure you into anything that you can afford. Thank you again for taking care of my family!

Another sad day coming here to honor another wonderful person achieving perfection and going to heaven.
This is a peaceful beautiful funeral home and do calming to the soul.

After the owner did some serious digging and found my mother’s number, then mine, I have to update my rating. She was very apologetic, and genuinely upset by the experience we had. She assured me the person who mistreated us was taken care of. I have heard from other people that Fouche’s is a respectable place that cares for it’s clients, so I believe in giving second review chances.

My mother passed away 11÷19÷12 and from that day to the day of her home-​going 11÷26÷12 the staff at Hudson’s was and still is wonderful.
Because I’ve been writing so much lately still taking care of my mother’s affairs I am going to make this short, but to the point!
Thank you Mrs. Fouche and staff from compassionantly removing my mom from her home to the services at New Hope Baptist Church-​Oakland to Rolling Hills Cemetery, you showed NOTHING Godly love, sympathy, compassion and so much more!
Oh! I cannot for Ms. Tammy and Ms. Louise. GREAT GODLY CLIENT SERVICES. Thank you.

The staff gave our family such wonderful care in a difficult time! They were so supportive in helping us transition and making preparations for our Fathers service! Thank you all for such a beautiful service and for being so gracious to our family.

Recently I was in Oakland and recognized the area I was in, so I decided to stop by to say hello to the staff. Last year my maternal grandmother passed away and the services were handled by Fouche’s. She wasn’t rich or famous, but she did have a lot of family and friends who were able to see her before she was laid to rest. Everything was handled that would have made my grandmother smile (^_​^).
During my visit I saw members who had come to view their loved ones, and I overheard several conversations that complimented Fouche’s. One family said that Fouche’s handled all of their arrangements for decades. When I asked a staff member how long they had been in business, I was told «For almost 100 years, since 1914». I was thinking WOW, not many businesses last that long, so they must be doing something right! One gentleman even came up from Los Angeles, to make arrangements with Fouche’s. I can’t say that visiting such a place is high on my list, but I thought that I should at least share my experiences with fellow Unilocalers.
The staff was very professional and courteous during my family’s time of grief as well as my 2^nd visit. I was shocked to see a low review (on Unilocal), but I took that with a grain of salt as sometimes people never have anything good to say. I usually don’t give out 5 stars unless I visit more than once. Unfortunately I don’t plan or foresee using their services anytime soon, but when my time comes maybe I’ll give them a 5^th star… lol

We had my brother’s funeral there on 12/​19/​2010, we were not told that if the funeral got to crowded that people would not be able to get into the services. We had a lot of people who came from out of town that were not able to get in to the services. Also, the staff at Fouche’s was very rude to people who attended the services. We wanted to give our business to an African American business but this was a big mistake, the staff at Fouche’s was very unprofessional. They took our money and gave us very poor service. Next time we will go to Chapel of Chimes.
