If litigation is necessary, we have 30 years courtroom experience. As for Trust Administration, our team of real estate agents, appraisers, senior care consultants and financial consultants along with our legal help and advice will cover all your needs in administering your Living Trust, including tax issues, communications between beneficiaries and trustees and trust distributions. History

Established in 1988.

Mike began his legal career in the mid 1980’s representing the elderly suffering from various forms of lung disease caused by tobacco use and asbestos exposure. While involved in tobacco litigation, it became apparent that his clients needed estate planning help. This was the start of Mike’s work in world of estate planning. Mike eventually began working with trucking and taxi companies throughout the Bay Area, also addressing his client’s estate planning needs. Eventually, Mike created the East Bay Probate & Trust Administration, an organization that includes a team of experts to work with Mike; real estate agents, appraisers and financial consultants to provide a full service estate planning office for our clients. Throughout the last 30 years, Mike has provided results that keep his clients returning for his litigation and estate planning services.

Attorney Mike Broad is the founder of East Bay Probate and Trust Administration (EBPTA). Mike has been providing legal services to clients in Oakland and Alameda county since 1986.

Mike’s office and his home are both located in Oakland. Mike makes it a point to give personal attention to every case, provide prompt responses to client inquiries, give clients sound legal advice, pay attention to the details of your life and your estate plan needs, willingness to make house calls and of course, create an estate plan you can be proud of knowing that you and your property safe.

Mike has been involved in Lawyers in the Library, Volunteers in Parole, President of the Intermodal Maritime Association and has been Chairman of the Board of the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Mike is an avid lover of art, music and theater. He is an outdoors-​man, a traveler and sports enthusiast.
