History
Established in 2000.
Founded in 2000 by San Francisco Bay Area percussionist and art therapist Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR, DRUMMM’s «hands-on» drum circle programs have captivated hundreds of thousands of participants at events across the United States and abroad.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
S.F. Bay Area percussionist and art therapist Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR is a dynamic and engaging facilitator, trainer, presenter and performer. She is best known for her innovative strategies and playful attitude that foster team-building, support wellness, enhance celebrations, and strengthen community for event participants of all ages and backgrounds.
Swerdlow is a REMO-Endorsed Drum Circle Facilitator, trained HealthRHYTHMS and Village Music Circles facilitator, and lifelong student of West African drumming and world percussion. A Registered Art Therapist (A.T.R.) with over 20 years of professional facilitation experience, she holds an M.A. in Art Therapy from University of Illinois Chicago and a B.A. in Visual Arts/Psychology from U.C. San Diego.
Swerdlow has received numerous grants for her DRUMMM programs throughout the U.S. She has performed with such renowned percussionists as Mickey Hart, Giovanni Hidalgo and the Bay Area’s favorite samba marching Loyd Family Players.
