History
Established in 2015.
After 20 years of experience teaching languages to students of all ages, teacher and artist Lucy B is now offering Spanish classes based on her understanding of the learning process and human creativity.
Meet the Business Owner
Lucy B.
Business Owner
Lucy moved to Mexico City at the age of seven and lived there for ten years. She is fully bi-lingual and identifies as bi-cultural. She completed her bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley in Latin American Literature and Political Economy of Developing countries. She has taught both English and Spanish as a Second language for nearly twenty years in diverse settings: from Kindergarteners in Rockridge to immigrant parents of grade school children in East Oakland. She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Transformative Arts at JFKU and is excited to continue to harness the learning available through creativity.
