DON’T. They should get NO stars. They have left town with several peroples money.
I am also just out $ 3,100. Today I went to their Oakland shop and ran into another person there outside not able to get in at that time who had also put down $ 3,100. He had been there earlier in the day and saw employees. He said that the employees present only know that the owners skipped out and left them. They claim to know nothing. They said they were going to move the stone elsewhere. We both couldn’t get in to see if our granite was there. I saw someone inside but they wouldn’t answer. I will be gathering all those I can get for evidence of fraud and whatever else I can charge them with. I and the other poor person dealt with Greg Orais.

It appears that they are out of business and they ran off with our money. $ 4000 and no granite. Please don’t do business with this company.

We found a beautiful piece of marble for our bathroom vanity in the late 90s at Creative Stoneworks and had them install it. Their work was terrific in every respect. However, we knew absolutely nothing about maintaining it, and not once did any of their people let on that marble is one of the most high-​maintenance surfaces you can choose: if you set a can of shaving cream down on it, and the bottom of the can is damp, voilá! Half an hour later you’ve got yourself a ring that won’t go away.
Fast forward to last week: I called them to come clean and seal the vanity as well as the matching tile in the shower. I also asked them to do something about the signs of drips, etc., that have appeared over the years. Their crew came out, cleaned and sealed, but said there was nothing they could do about the marks. Total time for cleaning and sealing, less than 45 minutes; cost, $ 360, excessive by any measure, especially since the work I wanted done, wasn’t.

They did an amazing job and were so nice. The craft involved in wrapping the grain of our marble and Pietra Grigio counters around the edges was impressive. Our counters are gorgeous, everything matches perfectly. And they involved us every step of the way in choosing our slabs and laying out the counters so the best part of the stone would be where we wanted it. The Pietro Grigio didn’t take the «enhance» as well as it usually does, so it didn’t turn dark enough when treated. Alvin came back twice to retreat the stone, and offered to come once more this year for free. This is an excellent company with phenomenal customer support and service. Highly highly recommended.

Twelve years ago when we remodeled our kitchen, we found Creative Stoneworks and were enticed by the beauty of a stone they carry called pietro grigio. They installed kitchen counter tops for us which continue to be beautiful and have stood up to all the years of hard cooking. This fall we decided to extend one of our counters and went back to CS to find a stone top. Mario was very helpful in sorting through pieces of pietro grigio and we found a stunning piece that has some of the same beautiful grain as our original countertops. The crew removed (and saved!) the old countertop and installed the new one quickly and competently. We are very happy with the stone, the installers and the service. We recommend them without reservation.

Alvin and Mario spent a LOT of time helping us find and then helped negotiate with the seller of a beautiful piece of stone for our bathroom vanity.
Armando and Cruz were fantastic in coming out to template and install. They are so professional and so people friendly in dealing with the customer
And finally, Kimberly at the front desk was extremely professional and made you feel you were really special from the first day we called them.

We did a complete remodel over a year ago. Our job included 5 bathrooms, 4 fireplaces, and a huge kitchen. Creative Stoneworks did a professional and detailed job from beginning to end. I have high expectations of the subs that I work with, and Alvin, Ryan and all of the people I worked with at Creative Stoneworks met all expectations from beginning to end. I highly recommend Creative Stoneworks.

They did an excellent job of working with us on our kitchen countertops. This included taking the time to go look at the stone at the supplier before we bought it. The broken edge looks great and gets lots of compelments.
We thought we would have to end up with a seam, but they took the extra time and effort to fit it in one piece.
They have always taken the time to help out an answer follow-​up questions.

Alvin & company did our kitchen counter tops in 2005. They are so beautiful, they did an excellent job. When we decided to do our fireplace surround earlier this year, I knew exactly who to call for the best service and quality of workmanship. I was not disappointed by their work, the fireplace is stunning. When we get around to doing our two bathroom counters, I will be calling them again. The crew is very particular. It was hard to tell that they had ever been in my home. I would highly recommend Creative Stoneworks!
