Established in 2008.

Cocoa Diva’s Chocolate Bar started out as a business plan in «B» school. The original idea consisted of a physical location in «Uptown» or «Fillmore» districts. With the current state of our economy and a lack of funds available for start-​up companies we decided to lauch a website instead. We are proud of our new website because it allows customers to purchase Cocoa Diva’s chocolate & wine products from anywhere in the U.S. Now, Cocoa Diva takes her chocolate & wine lounge theme to various locations and creates an atmosphere that is relaxing and fun. You may see Cocoa Diva’s at local lounges, universities, hotels, private parties, banks, restaurants… we are moving fast! Business Owner

La Wanda Smith started Cocoa Diva’s Chocolate Bar in 2008. She left her corporate job as a Business Consultant at 7-​Eleven, Inc. to pursue her dreams as an entreprenuer and business leader. La Wanda was born and raised in San Francisco, Ca. and has been passionate about food from a young age. Chocolate & wine is a new tasting concept that La Wanda has created a niche for and called her own. La Wanda graduated from the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business in 2010 and believes in socially responsible business. Support this organically grown business founded by a Bay Area resident and native and watch our local economy grow!
