Just a quick update: Bad teeth(or «elements related to bad teeth») run in our family, and different members of our clan have been frequenting the dear doctors office over the last twelve months. As always, she has treated our mouths with tender professionalism, and I am grateful for her service to us. Even when one of our little ones went ballistic(he absolutely HATES shots and fights to get out of them), she treated him very well, and even directed us to another dentist who had an approach more appropriate to his needs. Now THAT’s a good dentist.

Dr. Carter and her staff are very friendly and approachable(hence the two stars). However, this does not make up for what I would consider sub-par dentistry. For example… 1. One of my front teeth started chipping. I told Dr. Carter about it, and she said not to worry, it was superficial and wouldn’t continue to chip. Guess what? Now I have a nice-sized notch out of my front tooth. 2. When she flosses, if she can’t get in between my teeth easily, she gives up and leaves them unflossed. 3. Our previous dentist informed my husband that he needed a couple of crowns. Dr. Carter told him that his teeth were fine; however, his teeth have been causing him more and more pain over the last year. Both my husband and I have been to Dr. Carter twice(everyone deserves a second chance). Now we’re changing dentists.
