Voted the Bay Area’s «Best Summer and Technology Day Camp» by BayAreaParent Magazine. CAMP EDMO, for Pre-​K-​8^th graders, offers mind-​blowing arts & science, maker, technology, nature, and recreation programs designed for the next generation of makers, shakers and amazinators. Taught

by industry pros and designed by Edventure More in partnership with the California Academy of Sciences and the Children’s Creativity Museum, every week includes Wacky Wednesday, Costume Day, Family Fun Day, The Vibe Game, Camper Challenges and more. Whether campers are 4 or 14, we shape our programs for every age:

EDMO JR (Pre-​K): Led by Early Childhood Education Specialists, mini makers take part in epic adventures and hands-​on activities.

EDMO (K-​4^th): Rock the vibe and participate in activities as original as you. It’s old-​fashioned fun and next generation learning.

EDMO PRO (Ent. 5^th-​8^th): Scrap the «kiddy» stuff and get your game face on. Graduate students and industry professionals teach more advanced programs with more lab time.

Camp runs June-​August in 20+ Convenient Bay Area and Greater Sacramento Locations.

History

Established in 2004.

Sharon Mor and Ed Caballero co-​founded Edventure More (EDMO), a 501©(3) non-​profit, out of a shared passion for inquiry-​based learning and personal growth. They wanted to create a space where learning felt like an adventure for both kids and staff. They also wanted participants in their programs to learn about the world around them; but more importantly learn about themselves in the process.

As a way to add to their own 20+ years of combined experience, Sharon and Ed sought partnership with the top Bay Area museums and children’s organizations. These enrichment partners were key in building curriculum, designing their programs, training staff, and helping the organization achieve its mission. Over the years, Edventure More has added all of the latest educational approaches and top advisors in each field to its curriculum development process.

Meet the Business Owner

Ed S. Sharon M.

Business Owner

Ed knows inspired enrichment from the inside out. Since school, he has been involved in youth programs. Meeting co-​founder Sharon when he was Assistant Director of a Score! Educational Center. Ed sits on the SF Department of Children & Youth’s Summer Work Group, The Big Lift Collaborative’s Inspiring Summers Workgroup in the Peninsula & the Oakland Summer Learning Network. He has also represented the Bay Area at summer funding lobbying events & as a speaker/​attendee at summer & afterschool conferences.

Sharon is a Life Coach & natural leader, driven by helping do-​gooders become the best version of themselves. Her coaching program for Managers and Leaders combines personal & professional goals, with a huge impact on staff. Sharon has served in the Israeli Navy, returning to the U.S. to get her Bachelor’s at UCLA. Her leadership roles range from Senior Center Director at SCORE! to Area Director for Revolution Prep to Academic & Peer Counselor. She is also a Hoffman Institute Teacher.
