History

Established in 2001.

Bianca Di Giulio has been committed to health and healing for over 10 years, beginning her path first as a social worker and massage therapist. Both professional experiences inspired her to pursue further studies in holistic health. She holds a degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley, and practiced as a Family Advocate at a nonprofit in a Lake Tahoe community.

Social work and community-centered practice both remain an inherent part to Bianca’s professional experience. She is a volunteer acupuncturist for the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic which provides acupuncture and other healing therapies to low-income women with cancer. She currently maintains a general family practice, with primary emphasis on Women’s Health and Integrative Oncology.

She is also pursuing her Doctorate of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (DAOM) in order to specialize in Integrative Oncology. Graduation and expected coursework completion in June 2015.

Bianca Di Giulio is a California State Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Massage Therapist. Bianca earned her Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley. The third year of the program, Bianca was one of five students chosen to attend the Tokyo Seminar, where she studied closely with masters of Japanese style acupuncture. The principles of Meridian Therapy have become a foundation to Bianca’s practice, which employs fewer needles and extremely gentle technique.

Bianca maintained an extracurricular internship for 2 years with an acupuncturist specializing in women’s health. She observed hundreds of treatments ranging from menstrual irregularities, infertility, pre-post partum care, labor induction, to menopausal health.

Besides acupuncture, Bianca’s other passions include traveling, running, hiking, and enjoying a delicious meal with her vibrant Italian family.
