History

Established in 2011.

After years of working in event design, I decided to open my own company. I saw the need for an event design firm that truly embodied the values and the beauty of the Bay Area. One of my first motivating factors was the wastefulness of many event productions. I strive within every event to tailor-​create ways of incorporating sustainable practices into events. I have found that using sustainable methods does not retract from the sophistication and refinement of events, but rather adds to it.

I also believe that working with a small event design company allows clients much more intimate relationships with planners. In my company, I work personally with clients to design once in a lifetime events.

A native of Berkeley, California Ocea Jacobs has worked in the event planning industry from the tender age of 16. In her adult life, planning parties, Bar Mitzvahs, and Weddings has been not only a hobby and passion, but a career. A true Bay Area foodie and nature lover, helping people celebrate the special moments in their lives brings her joy and fulfillment.
