History

Established in 1973.

In 1973, I took my first tax preparation course. I «did taxes» for family, friends, and clients for a decade or so, then I became a loan officer. To do this work I took Accounting and Income Tax Analysis.

I went back to college full time in 1998. I took statistics and data analysis courses in pursuit of my major.

I continued on to law school, where my experience and education combined to serve the school and my classmates.

From 2004 to 2010 I clerked for a tax attorney. I opened my own tax practice in 2012.

I have seen thousands of tax returns. This broad experience helps me spot problem areas and trouble before the return leaves my hands.

I specialize in helping people who are behind on filing. Many of you lost homes or suffered other tragedies since the financial meltdown in 2007. I have helped many people just like you.

Thanks for asking! I was born in LA. I kept moving north every chance I got. I kept going to college every chance I got.

I have been living in the Bay Area since 2001 when I moved to San Francisco to go to law school. I graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2004 at the age of 54; the oldest in my class.

Since then I have been preparing tax returns for individuals, families, businesses and nonprofit organizations. My practice has expanded but I am still taking new clients.

I am not an attorney. I have not passed the Bar and I am not planning to take the Exam any time in the near future.

In addition, I engage in legal research and document preparation for attorneys. Financial analysis of complex scenarios such as property division at marital dissolution is also available.
