My friend focused on a pair of banana socks near the front door while I flipped through capes, coats and chambray dresses in this little Temescal Alley boutique. I like the spare Japanese/​Nordic quality to the clothes and the space. We’d just come from a sweaty spin class and lunch so I wasn’t in the mood to try things on this time but I’ll definitely return when I’m in a more serious shopping mood.
Just before we departed I caught my pal Derrick petting a purse. When I took a closer look I could see why, this thing was gorgeous. If you want to buy a beautiful bag or a pretty purse for yourself or a loved one, Ali Golden is a good place to look!

Ali Golden Designs is yet another interesting little shop within the Temescal Alley. I first walked in when a few of their bag designs caught my attention. Once inside, I realized that this was a unique woman’s fashion store and just maybe in Gayle’s style. It’s a cool little space, with the merchandise in front and a couple of sewing machine working towards the back. Even though I was a little out of my element, I felt welcome and intrigued about Gayle’s urban uniform possibilities.
