Staff were helpful, but the facility is shabby and run down. And that was a big problem, as it turned out. Now, if this were a motel, it would have gotten no stars, lol. I thought that was pretty fishy, but it didn’t put me off that much. I do worry if I would be able to sleep there, though, and it turned out my concerns were well founded. Now I have a bad back and require a firm mattress that doesn’t sag. This was not provided. All the mattresses there are very soft. They claim medium, but it is a soft medium. I got a choice of four rooms, since I was the lucky first patient to arrive that evening. I tried the beds, but they were all extremely soft, with a nice plush memory foam pad over each of them. The first room they put me in smelled badly of industrial cleaning solution. As a sufferer of autoimmune difficiency, perfumes and other chemical agents can cause me to become ill in a matter of moments, so they transferred me to another room. At that point, I noticed that the rooms were all very drafty, with one hundred year old casements which did not keep out the damp night air, covered with what looked exactly like decades of multiple layers of lead paint and over these were pairs of Venetian blinds so old, rusty and deformed that they were inoperable. Over these were a pair of stained, worn $ 20 discount curtains which must have been over twenty years old and obviously never been cleaned. The furnishings would not have been out of place in the dollar bin of a second hand store, consisting entirely of the cheapest fiberboard particle construction imaginable and similarly ancient and shabby. Despite the assurance from my tech that the facility had only been in operation since 2009, the furnishings, blinds, drapes and mattresses were all clearly from the early 90’s or late 80’s. I overlooked all of this, telling myself that as long as the beds were firm enough that everything would be fine. it wasn’t. At my recommendation, the staff stripped off the memory foam and I tried the bed and it was firm enough! They also grudgingly wiped down the ancient medical cot which had the offending odors of chemicals, making the room comfortable for me to breath in. They wired me up and I climbed into bed. When I told them that the dank room was too cold for me to sleep in, they turned on the heat, but explained that it was a central system(no individual rooms!) and it could get too hot very quickly for all the other clients in their rooms. What a joke! No worries there, though. The room was so dank and drafty that keeping the heat cranked(it apparently didn’t have any settings or thermostats either, just on and off) was perfect and I began to feel comfortable, despite the restricting presence of the wires, straps, cheap gear, etc. The bedding was fresh and clean and the pillows and comforter were fluffy, so that was nice. About an hour and a half into it, I was still struggling to sleep(I normally only take five minutes) and began to notice that the mattress was starting to sag under my weight. I only weigh 100 pounds, so this indicated that the mattress, like everything else in the establishment, was extremely old and very cheap. My back began to seize up, so I made the best of it, tucking my hand under my hip in an effort to provide the support that was missing in the mattress. I did manage to fall asleep, but awoke to a sharp pain in my hip and lower back. I asked if the mattress had ever been turned, but they didn’t know. I crawled to try to sleep at the other end of the bed, but this too, proved to be immediately excruciating. At that point, I just gave up. The tech claimed that I was the first person he’d encountered who had had any kind of problem and although he also has a serious spinal condition(mine is muscular, though, so perhaps that makes me more sensitive?) he said he’d spent the night himself in that very bed — despite the fact that he actually requires a bed at home so hard it is nicknamed«the sidewalk». He claims it was fine for him, though… no issues. He was judgemental and not supportive, despite the fact that I required assistance to walk or sit for a few minutes after getting out of the bed, due to my back seizing up. In fact, he seemed defensive. His lack of sensitivity hurt in a situation where some kindness and understanding and support would have been much more professional. It was clear that he couldn’t be bothered to give a rat’s ass and I was annoying him. He insisted I fill out a form saying I was refusing medical care despite clinicians recommendations, indemnifying them against potential lawsuits. This form looked like it had been downloaded from a form mill off the internet, lol. Since I couldn’t complete the study in their«facility» and I am using the word ironically at this point, I took a closer look at the mattress. It was very old, like everything else in the place and clearly of the absolutely cheapest materials imaginable.

The sleep study itself went OK, but… No one ever called me back to follow up with the results of my sleep study, and when I finally called them, it turns out they don’t have an in-house doctor that works in sleep medicine. Instead, they referred me back to my primary care physician! What good does that do me? If I need a sleep study, obviously I need someone to offer analysis of the sleep study results and a course of treatment based on that analysis. What good does a sleep study do me if they can’t recommend a course of treatment? And why do they expect my primary care physician to be able to help me, he’s not a specialist in sleep medicine, that’s why he referred me in the first place! Go somewhere else, and get your study from someone who can help when it’s done. This was a gigantic waste of time.

I really had such an amazing experience with«Ahi Solutions». Iana and Hearline. They were very professional with me. Iana’s informations were given to me with such a patience and she knows her job very well. Even my friend who drove me there were stunned by it. He spent quiet a bit times at hospital on a monthly base. My result with their product so far has been from night to day.” In 4 years I got the sleeping apnea problem and I felt tired every Single day like 10am until I took my nap, but isn’t the same feeling I feel in the last two days. I had a very good experience with AHI Solutions. It was a very comfortable setting with knowledgable staff who where very considerate. I would and have recommended them for anyone that needs to utilize their services. I have since gotten a cpap machine and have followed up with the staff several times. It did take awhile to get my results, but once I got them, I able to get my equipment in a timely and professional manner. I read the previous review which I disagree with most of. My experience was exceptional and I am now sleeping better.
