A & T Legal Process Service

This is a great small business. The people are very friendly. I didn’t know how to handle getting my unlawful detainer (eviction) handled, called them from a list of a few other places, and they helped me with the whole process. They are quick to let you know they aren’t attorneys or paralegals, but certainly get the job done like they are. I talked to some other places and their prices were so high!!! I not only liked the people here, but they made this process easier than I thought it would be.

Recently, I experienced a situation requiring a small claims action. I am not familiar with the process, so I sought the assistance of a legal services business. I began by simply searching the website for legal service businesses in my area. I picked A & T Legal out of a virtual hat, but I was pleasantly surprised with my random choice. The staff of A & T Legal is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I was able to communicate with someone in the office whenever I had questions and the process was explained to me every step of the way. I hope to not find myself in another situation such as this, but if I do I will contact A & T Legal Services first!

They took forever to serve my papers and would not answer the phone or return my messages once they had my business. In fact, I am more upset at their lack of communication more than anything, and the little communication I did get was rather brusuqe. They have weird office hours i.e. they close really early and are in and out a lot so it’s hard to catch them. I should have seen the red flag when the owner said they don’t take credit cards (doesn’t seem very professional to me, but even more important it makes it hard to have recourse like you would with a CC). I feel really dumb for going here, I should have gone with a more expensive, but at least more reputable company. When I did my search for a process server, lots of names came up with no reviews and little information. It was like playing Russian roulette, trying to figure out which service to use. Save yourself some frustration and anguish and don’t go here, you’ll regret it.
