Dr. Simon’s Pet Clinic

They are really knowledgeable and nice here. I come here to treat my dog and cat whenever they have a problem or need a check-​up. They always follow-​up with any issues we bring to them. It’s very clean and kept very well. They sell my cat’s special food at a decent price. But the services do not come cheap and one of my visits had us sitting in a tiny waiting room for a very long time. But every other time, the visits have been quick.

VERY clean and VERY professional. I’ve been to dozens of veterinarians for our dogs, and he has by far been the best. My puppy was absolutely mortified, and watching how the Dr. and his staff handled him to make him feel at ease really warmed my heart. You can tell that this clinic is passionate about their care for animals, and goes the extra mile to make sure that your four legged pal is really very well cared for.
When we spoke about issues with my dog’s separation anxiety, Dr. Simon offered lots of alternatives first, saying that we can always move to medication as a last resort. I love this approach! I’m so sick of vets trying to cram our pets full of pills to make a buck. We’ve been working with Echo with some of the techniques Dr. Simon and his staff discussed and we’ve seen some real improvements.
I can’t stress enough how wonderful my experience here was. Your pets will always have a friend in Dr. Simon.

Being new to the area we needed to establish veterinary care. Our cat has had a weird year infection for his entire seven years of life to which most veterinarians through a broad-​spectrum antibiotic at it. Dr Simon cultured the ear goo and then prescribed the proper antibiotic. When that also failed he sedated the cat and look deeper into the year to discover a polyp. We were referred to a specialist who removed the polyp and voilà the cat is now 100%.
As with most vets we expected to be charged hundreds of dollars but The get well visit and subsequent office visits and vaccinations were all very reasonably priced and we did not feel gouged.
Dr Simon has a gentle way with the animals and obviously cares about his clientele. Of the many many vet so I have been to through over 30 years I would have to say this is the best vet yet.

The very BEST vet Doctor (s) and staff I have ever encountered! It is always a clean, friendly and warm environment for me and my Pit Bull son :-) The staff are very knowledgable; Dr. Simon and the other Vets we’ve seen take their time to explain everything and thoroughly assess/​examine our dog– and are so very kind! Such an awesome local clinic!

Dr Simon is the kindest, BEST VET!
I returned home from to find my 3 month old chihuahua puppy, Bella, had somehow injured her eye. It was swollen & I could tell it was not good.
After freaking out & panicking, I brought her in to see Dr Simon.
He examined her & explained she had severely injured the eye.
He said In most cases like this, the eye has to be removed. He said he would do his best to try and save it, but depended on how bad the eye was injured. He wouldn’t be able to tell until he operated on her.
The eye had popped out of it’s shallow socket.
She could have been playing & either walked in to something or fallen off the bed.
Apparently eye sockets are shallow & eyes can pop out easily. Ugh!
He talked in a calm & reassuring gentle voice which helped me to be calm.
Unfortunately, her eye was too damaged & had to be removed.
Dr Simon was so gentle & calming when he explained the situation I could tell he sincerely cared about her.
He operated & she will have stitches for 2 weeks along with oral antibiotics.
Dr Simon fully explained to me what we could expect & our options. He said to monitor her eye closely to watch for oozing or infection.

Cares about the animals & is very experienced.
I live in Lake Worth FL which is about 45 mins away but it is worth the trip. I am confident that no matter what I need he is more than capable & experienced to handle it.
His staff is kind & you can tell they truly love and care for the animals. They even called me the next day to follow up to see how she was doing!
His prices are fair & his expertise is excellent.

I brought my pit bull to Dr. Simon’s pet to clinic for a 2^nd opinion in reference to his allergies. Dr. Simon is very thorough and informative. He spend quiet a bit of time with us checking my dog over and explaining different options to address Max’s allergies. I really like his staff and this office — they are near my house

BEST VET AROUND! We have several cats and a dog. We have been to Dr Simon’s Pet clinic several times now. The staff is very friendly and attentative. Dr Seskus is great. He truly loves his job, and gives great care to our animals. They always call and check to see how are pet is after going to the office. I cannot say enough good things about this vet. Go see for yourself! Very Friendly and caring.

Awful, just awful and poorly managed. Nothing anyone says or does inspires confidence, especially since some of the «good» reviews were written by employees (a highly unethical and unprofessional practice).

I recently relocated to Ft. Lauderdale from DC and Dr. Simon was able to get my dog in quickly for routine vaccinations and a check up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and did a phone follow up within a week to see how my dog was doing. I would recommend their office!

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Simon and his staff. We just bought a place in Fort Lauderdale and hadn’t yet found a vet. Our mini schnauzer, Bruno got very ill two days before New Years, not able to keep anything down and getting violently ill a few times a day. A friend recommended Dr. Simon so we called and they told us to come right in. Everyone was professional and kind and really made us feel at ease. Dr. Simon treated Bruno and called to check on him that night. Bruno started feeling better and it was clear he was on the mend. But going above and beyond, Dr. Simon called us again on New Years Eve to see how Bruno was doing. Amazing!
You can’t help but feel helpless when your pet is ill, Dr. Simon and his staff are here to make you and your beloved pet feel better.

Dr. Simon’s Pet Clinic is a class act. Very professional, affordable, honest and trustworthy. I rescued my German Shorthaired Pointer about a year ago and recently realized he was going to need surgery to remove a tumor on the inside of his ear. I didn’t really love my last Vet and was reluctant to go back because of where it was conveniently located, so I searched Unilocal.The previous reviews made me take a chance on Dr. Simon. He and his staff were all fantastic and my dog is recovering nicely. The price was ½ of what the initial estimate was at Banfield, but more importantly they took care of my dog with the utmost professionalism. He went above and beyond the call of duty and earned a new customer for life. My GSP is thankful to Dr. Simon & his staff!

In the corner of an older strip mall so outside impressions not wonderful. Immediate change inside to a clean we’ll run place. As always with animals there may be delay due to emergencies. Vet is incredibly nice and reassuring. He cares about the animals and it shows. He also cares about your pocketbook with some you can get it at Walgreens advice rather than selling their expensive stuff. You get this very warm feeling about him that gives you peace of mind. Prices are good as well about 30% less than our last super duper vet. It’s not a case of go again it’s more he’s the Vet now. Highly recommend for care of animals, parents and pocketbook!

Extremely pleased with the staff and level of service at Dr. Simon’s Pet Clinic, definitely one of the best clinic’s I’ve been to in years!
I’ve been looking to switch to another vet for quite some time and my husband happened to come across Dr. Simon from a local rescue he really adores. At that point in time we had a current vet but I was really looking for a second opinion in regards to my 5 year old ragdoll. He’d all of a sudden started losing mobility of his back legs and essentially looked like a drunk cat walking around. He was no longer jumping up on the counter or high places that most cats typically enjoy laying in and just seemed off overall. During my first visit with my old vet he didn’t clarify what exactly was wrong with my cat and stated that eventually it would go away… 3 weeks passed and my cat still wasn’t getting better so I brought him in to see Dr. Simon.
Customer service at the clinic was great, the girl at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Made my husband, myself, our german shepherd and our cat feel right at home. Our wait in the lobby wasn’t too terribly long as it was on a Saturday and there were several people waiting as well.
When we finally got into the exam room I explained to Dr. Simon what my previous vet had told me about my cats condition and even brought along his radiographs. He listened to my concerns which was a relief because my previous vet didn’t take the time to hear me out before he started diagnosing my cat. He took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns and didn’t make me feel like I was some kind of crazy or stupid person which is exactly how I felt with my previous pet. He gave my cat a full assessment including placing him on the floor and watching him walk around to get a better idea of what might be wrong with him which is also something my previous vet didn’t take the time to do. You would think if I told you my cat was having issues walking you would place them on the ground and observe them right? No, neither the vet or the tech observed my cat.
All in all it was a great experience for us. We definitely appreciated the above and beyond customer service and attentiveness that Dr. Simon provided and will definitely be coming back despite the fact that it is a ways from where we live but it was well worth it!

Today was my first visit and I will definitely be back. Clean, professional and a very friendly staff makes this vet stand out above the rest. This is a quality pet care facility.

I can’t express my admiration and appreciation for Dr. Seskus and his amazing staff. While living in FL Dr. Seskus introduced me to my first love/​puppy and cared for her as if she were his own. Everyone was always kind, considerate and services were always reasonably priced. I’m now living in Philadelphia and trying to find a vet that’s half of his caliber. Sophie and I really felt at home there and I couldn’t thank Dr. Seskus and his staff enough. Miss you all and wishing you all the success in the world!!!

Very happy with Dr. Seskus at East Oakland Pet Hospital! I have pets of my own and help rescue dogs and cats from South Florida shelters so I have been to a lot of vets in the area and sadly have not been happy with anyone. until Dr. Seskus! I had seen him a number of times at the emergency clinic, and he always provided such great care I was happy to find out he had taken over the East Oakland Pet Hospital so I could visit him for non-​emergencies.
Dr. Seskus is very knowledgeable, caring, and kind. So happy to finally have a vet to trust my animals with!
