This little tea house is incredible. I love coming here with my friends and family to have a small, but exquisite, meal. The coconut tea is flawless and the food is the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Also such a calm and comfortable environment and a wonderful lady, who I assume owns, it is always so kind and courteous.

Charmed! Atmosphere, service, theme, quality of food all merit a true 5 star. I’m a guy and can’t believe how much I enjoyed this. My wife did too!

We have passed this place forever and finally stopped in. It is a quant little place with antiques, a limited lunch menu and a ton of different teas. I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with potatoes salad, chocolate cake and Orange Vanilla Cream Tea. Very tasty. I am not a tea drinker but this tea was very good and I am sure all the other flavors of tea are just as good. Very different, enjoyable. I can see it catering to the European tourists that come to town every summer. Quite a surprise

This is the cutest place EVER! The sandwiches were so cute and tasty. I liked the Cucumber sandwich the best. The tea is so much better than any tea I’ve tasted before. Thanks to Unilocalers for telling me about this place. My two girls really enjoyed it. Yes, we would go back.

My absolute favorite place to eat in Oakhurst when I was pregnant. The owner is such a sweet lady and serves all the tables herself. The lunch menu is simple and everything I’ve had has been super tasty! Great tea sandwiches, yummy scones & desserts(though store bought) and a nice selections of teas.

My sister took me here for my first high tea experience. I have to say it was awesome. The food was wonderful and the owner who took care of us was wonderful. I need to add I don’t drink tea but they have other drinks as well. If you haven’t been to this awesome place you need to go. It exceeded my expectations!

I’ve been here several times and absolutely love it! Wish I didn’t live so far away but its defiantly the BEST, if not the only tea house in the Valley.

I love tea. I even would say I am picky about it and snobbish. Just like others like their coffee just so, I love a good cuppa. My family stopped here while on our vacation, and we had tea for lunch one day. We made reservations, which are always helpful to any good tea establishment. We were placed in a small room off the main open area, which was delightfully decorated, and was done with accents of red. The tea service matched, and was very pretty. Each room off the main room is also beautifully decorated as well. The tea I ordered was a blended one. It was good, and on a scale of 1 to 10, I wold say it was an 8. The food however, was not as good as the tea. It was very prettily arranged on tiered plates. The sandwiches were good, and the scones were great and homemade. Each of us had a different kind of scone. One was gingerbread, one had currents, another peach, and the fourth had something else. The only complaint was that much of the other dessert items were not homemade, and were a bit too sweet. Overall, it was a nice diversion, and had many lovely things to shop for. I would definitely go again, if I lived in the area, The staff was very pleasant, attentive, and nice. It was charming, delightful, and worth a stop if you have them time.

I have had high tea on my wish list for some time now, I never dreamed my boyfriend would accompany me. It was a blast. We got the Victorian Tea for Two. Which came with 8 sandwich quarters, two of four different kinds(chicken salad, cucumber, turkey and egg salad). As well as four savories, we were given two mini quiches and two mozzarella cheese sticks. We also received four sweets each: a mini cupcake, shortbread cookie, piece of banana bread and a lemon bar. And a scone. With the order we also received a pot of tea if our choice, we had the apple spice which was lovely. The staff was very pleasant. And the décor was over the top. Which really delighted my quirky sense of humor

My mom and I have wanted to go for quite sometime and we finally made plans and went last Saturday. A group of us ladies went, 6 in total. Everything about Time for Tea was fabulous! Judy, the owner, is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever known. We were seated in the fireside room which is simply lovely! The room usually seats 4 – 5 but even with 6 we had plenty of room. I ordered the Peach Strawberry tea and oh my… it was Heavenly! I’ve tried the Blue Lady and it’s incredible as well. Mom got Misty Thursday and I really enjoyed that one as well. I ordered the Victorian Tea which included tea sandwiches, warm pastries and deserts. Very delicious! The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. We had a wonderful time just chatting, laughing and sipping tea. Wonderful memories I’ll always cherish! I ended up purchasing some Blue Lady, Peach Strawberry and White Peach loose teas along with sugar tongs and a cute teapot necklace. I can’t wait for our next outing! I’ve already made plans of going back for my birthday in April. :) I’m currently sipping a freshly brewed cup of Blue Lady as I type! :)

I have visited many of the area tea houses and none of them can compare to Time for Tea. They serve the best Victorian Tea anywhere and their Chop Salad is to die for. It is a great place to take your mother, your daughters, your best friend. Many ideas have been shared over a pot of tea and a Tarragon Chicken Salad croissant. Their house tea blends are to die for. Thank heaven you can take them home with you. IF you are holding a luncheon of any kind for your friends, this is the place to take them.

This was the perfect place to have our very first High Tea experience! My adult daughter and I stopped in while our family was spending the weekend visiting the area. It was such a special treat! We LOVED the tea — I ordered the Misty Thursday and my daughter asked for the French Caramel Crème Brulee. We dressed ours up with milk and sugar and they were decadent and delicious! Time For Tea was pretty, but not stuffy. The owner couldn’t have been more charming and welcoming! We left with happy tummies, renewed spirits, loose tea and a brand new teapot. We’ll definitely stop back in the next time we’re near Oakhurst! Suggestion: Call ahead to reserve a table. The owner was happy to seat us, but it helps her plan her day if she knows you’re coming. Also, they close for one week in January and one week in September, so if you call ahead, you’ll avoid being disappointed during those particular weeks

What a wonderful tea room! My fiancée and I are what you might call snobs for tea. While on holiday this past week in Oakhurst we saw off of highway 41 a swinging teapot-shaped sign reading«Time for Tea,» so we stopped in for a late afternoon luncheon. It was quiet inside, we walked into a neatly arranged storefront with all tea-related items one could think of. We were greeted and seated by a very gracious host in one of several small, individual dining rooms off to the side of the storefront; ours was themed with excellent and classic adornments in red and white with red oriental poppies on our tablecloth, cute china and napkins that felt too soft and too nice to use! Our host took our order for«Afternoon Tea for Two» and quickly returned with two pots of our steeping teas along with a small dish of clotted cream(the American version of it, at least!), jam and lemon curd for each of us. Pro tip: try the French Caramel Brulee black tea with three sugar cubes and a spot of cream in your cup. We learned it was one of their most popular blends and we could taste why. Shortly after our teas arrived our host set a three-level tower of triangle-cut sandwiches, baked breads and pastries for us to indulge. We took our time enjoying these finger foods and our teas before walking out and buying two bags of the loose-leaf teas we’d just tried. This is a place we’ll be going back to whenever we’re in Oakhurst.

Wonderful teas and great food served in a very pretty setting. They even have a few private rooms for larger parties. It’s a great place for a light lunch or an afternoon snack.

My girlfriend took me here, and let me say it is very feminine feeling, but the food was all delicious. We got a small sampler plate to split between us which included lots of little pastries and sandwiches. Everything was great. The service is fast and personable. The décor is very… frou frou. The tea was superb(as I would expect from a place called«Time for Tea»). This is a great place to sit down and relax over a light meal and tea.

We were on our way to Yosemite when I spotted this place. I dragged my husband in here. WHAT A SPORTHEIS! It was a truly wonderful experience. The tea was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life!!! The place is a little pricey for the food items that you get, but everything was very tastey. They have traditional british style tea party fare. We went mainly for the experience; I didn’t expect to get full. The atmosphere is very victorian and the perfect place for a small tea party. I am a sucker for this stuff. The owner was kind enough to tell me where she gets her tea. I wish that I could come back here. You can buy some tea to take home, which is a bonus. You must try their raspberry coconut or apricot peach. Oh my goodness this tea is heavenly!!! We drank two pots!!!
