Gateway Cycle has been selected as one of «America’s Best Bike Shops»! Gateway Cycle is a full service bike shop across from the Gateway Trail in the east metro area. We are friendly, knowledgeable and focus on excellent customer service. Our service department is top notch and we will maintain/​repair any bike. Gateway Cycle has a full line of bikes and bike gear including Trek, Electra and Raleigh. We also rent bicycles, tandems, child trailers and bike racks. We welcome your business!

History

Established in 1992.

We originated in 1992 as Maplewood Cycling and Fitness on White Bear Avenue across from Maplewood Mall. In 1997, we moved to our present location at Hwy 36 and 120 in Oakdale, MN. At that time, we changed our name to Gateway Cycle to reflect the Gateway Trail located along the opposite side of Hwy 36 from our store.

We opened Maplewood Cycling in 1992 across from Maplewood Mall and moved to our present location as Gateway Cycle in 1997. We are a friendly, knowledgeable and full-​service bike shop.
