Not everyone is blessed with full, long lashes or even brows, and as women age they begin to see a loss where once there was abundance. And for those with illnesses that cause hair loss, it can be an uplifting blessing. Where Mother Nature falls short, Occhi’ Lash & Brow in Oakbrook Terrace fills in the gaps. Literally.

Occhi’ (pr: o-​kee) Lash & Brow is the première studio for eyelashes and eyebrows in Chicago, including eyebrow shaping, eyelash and eyebrow extensions. It is the ONLY studio in the U.S. certified in the Hi Brow and Brow Perfect technique out of the U.K., and one of few in the U.S. certified in Lash Perfect. The techniques uses individual hairs, silk, synthetic or genuine mink, safely glued in place, using the highest quality adhesive, to create the most beautiful and natural feeling of real lashes and brows.

The studio was founded by Lynn La Palermo, well-​known in the Chicagoland area for more than 30 years. She personally trains all of her staff, as well as others across the country, in the Brow Perfect, Lash Perfect and Volume Lash techniques through the Occhi’ Institute.

History

Established in 2014.

With 30 years experience as an Esthetician, in Makeup Artistry, Permanent Makeup and Eyelash/​Eyebrow Extensions, Lynn La Palermo opened Occhi’ Lash & Brow in Spring 2014.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Founder, Lynn La Palermo is no stranger to Chicagoland as a well-​known Esthetician and Makeup Artist. For more than three decades, Lynn has honed her craft, and got her start studying with legendary Hollywood Makeup artist Syd Simons, the original Creative Director at Playboy. From there, she opened a small spa offering full-​service skin care in Oak Brook, where she kept up on the latest European trends.

And, after seeing the market saturated with spas, Lynn narrowed her focus, achieved new certification in Permanent Makeup and Eyelash Extensions, and then Eyebrow Extensions, to create a much needed niche.

Lynn’s impressive background also includes Volume Lash training with X VIP Lashes, Russia, a member of the National Eyelash Education Safety Association and a trainer for Estheticians at L.A. Sports Club and Mario Tricoci Salons.
