Our unique pizzeria and pub offers a delicious menu of tasty food and drinks in a fun, relaxed and family-​friendly atmosphere. From traditional Chicago-​style stuffed pizza to thin crust pies that would fare well even among the pickiest New Yorkers, your pizza craving is sure to be satisfied at Gulliver’s. In addition to unbeatable pizza, we also serve a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, Italian-​style entrees, burgers and more.

Come in for a romantic date night, or bring your friends for a rowdy night of games and sports. We have our own unique game room and a bar lined with flat screens for you to watch your favorite team. Enjoy nice weather on our outdoor patio, or opt for comfortable seating in our main dining area. We also have a private room available for events that holds up to 60 people.

History

Established in 1965.

The famous Gulliver’s Pizza from Chicago is now in Oakbrook Terrace! The original Gulliver’s location opened in 1965 on Howard St. in Chicago, and quickly became famous for Chicago-​style pan pizza and countless antiques throughout the restaurant. Today, there are two more locations in addition to the original spot, including our own Oakbrook Terrace location. The Oakbrook Terrace location has been family owned and operated since 2009, and we take pride in serving delicious pizza in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

In 2009, George and his family decided to convert a restaurant in Oakbrook Terrace into a Gulliver’s so they could serve delicious food and cold drinks to their neighbors in the area. George had worked at the original Gulliver’s location, and realized that the food and atmosphere were exactly what Oakbrook Terrace needed. He is proud of the great reaction Gulliver’s has received from the community over the years, and looks forward to serving you for many more!

I am only giving one star because you can’t leave 0. I hate when you go to a bar and the owner is an absolute drunk.

This is the place you go if you want to be rushed out of your dinner. If you want to have a waitress pick up your plate and your cup that you are clearly still eating from and drinking from so that a gang of unruly parents with relatively well behaved children can come in and just completely run you out of your table, then this is your place. I spent $ 42 on a dinner that I was not able to enjoy or finish. To top it all off, the owner/​manager was helping them.

Met up with some friends who suggested Gullivers. I stopped going there due to repeated poor service. This visit proved this is still their M.O. Food is generally good and pizza is better than what else is around. Especially love the pizza soup. That being said, once our food was served our waitress disappeared back to a hidden table with another waitress to play on her phone. Had to get up to hunt down drink refills. Had to get up to find her for our check. Had to walk back to the kitchen to get a to go box. The bar business must support this place, because with service like this, they can’t be succeeding on the restaurant side. Vowed not to go back previously, this has been confirmed.

I came here cause people kept telling me the pizza is great and it can’t miss. Maybe my taste buds were off or it was theirs because the pizza is average at best. The pizza (I tried the thin crust) needs more sauce and the crust tasted stale and it just wasn’t fresh. Ive enjoyed a little ceases pizza more than this one. The toppings are again average. What I did like we’re the buffalo wings as they have a slight hint of smoke and a nice tasty mild sauce. The wings are not breaded and have a nice crunch to them. Not the best wings I’ve had but they were Better than the pizza.

I want to start by saying that the sausage pizza is probably one of the best pies I have ever had. My concern with this place is the cleanliness. Tables felt sticky and bar area had a moldy smell. The service was just ok. I think this place needs a good deep cleaning.

The one and only reason I visit… the pan pizza. I’m sure there are a lot of other good items, but the pan pizza has always been good… and we don’t mess with a good thing.
Their pan pizza is titled on their online menu as «World Famous Pizza in the Pan». And to me it’s the crust that makes it. It’s crispy and hearty, almost like the crust of my favorite (Pequods), just without the cheese they bake into the crust. The sauce is flavorful and there is a huge list ot toppings available for your choosing.
We have only done take out… and after a harried shopping experience at nearby Oak Brook Mall, take-​out pizza to enjoy away from the crowd can be bliss.
They have always been prompt with our orders and friendly on the phone and at pick up.

First time here. Just came in for pickup.
Front help not especially friendly. Pizza was okay. No Malnati’s. That being said… as I was waiting I heard the music in the bar. Yikes! The sound of it and the roar of people talking… flashbacks to the 70’s and going to Frankensteins. It was a bar on Howard near Western. Just was a weird feeling.

Big bar area that could remind you of Cheers with all the regulars customers surrounding it.
A bar couldn’t be complete without sports, games and great beer!
Bartenders are well attentive so make sure to tip them well because they will remember you if you come back.
Their quesadillas and burgers are to die for! If you are looking for diet food, then move on. All plates are full enough for 3 meals!
Plenty of parking and they even offer different events throughout the week. Great bar if you are looking for one!

They got the best pizza i have had in this area i called around 10:00 last knight and we picked it up in 20 minuets and it was cheaper then any outher place with good puzza i would say they are just as good as places i love from the berwyn areaWitch is to me the best pizza in the World i order their pan pizza today and they are delivering
To me im waiting for it know and if they pass the test again i wil give another review of 5 stars and wont ever need to get riped off from fony pizza places in this area again. And that is great!!!

When I first ate at this Gulliver’s, I was disappointed as the pizza was not the same as the Howard Avenue location. However, after eating at the Oakbrook Terrace location last Saturday, I can honestly say that the pizza there is as good as the original location.

Eh, pizza is ok. Some people rave about it, not sure why. Fairly bland and on the soggy side. If it weren’t for the crushed pepper, it would’ve been like eating paste.
Server was great (Jordan). Girl was on the ball, even though she had a ton of tables. I like her service way more than the pizza so she earned 3 stars for this place (2 stars otherwise).
Ate half, took rest to go but I’ll pitch it in the parking lot. Didn’t want Jordan to feel bad.

I’m happy with what I got from Gulliver’s. Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza for carry-​out, so I can’t comment on service & the restaurant. Our pepperoni and mushroom pizza was delicious, even when we let it get cold. ~$ 20 for a large. I’d order here again.

We have been coming here for over a year and go with the kids about once a month for our pizza nights. Great pizza (kids love it), friendly staff, great drink specials and the atmosphere is good. My 7 year old makes sure we go when the «balloon guy» is there.

My husband and I had time to kill while his car was serviced at Castle Chevrolet. At the time we went there were not many people there but the service was still slow. We waited to have our order taken and waited for drink refills. We ate the deep dish pizza (sausage). It was delicious! It tasted like Lou Malnati’s but wasn’t outrageously thick which meant you didn’t stuff yourself so easily. There were a lot of TVs so I imagine it’s an excellent place to catch a game. I was pleasantly surprised by this place; it’s also open late. I wish it was closer to where I live so my husband and I could get here on the days he works late.

I’ve been to Gulliver’s about 5 or 6 times now – It’s pretty great. Love the mix of faces you’ll get in a place like this. Depending on the night, the bar is standing room only! I like the variation. Could be slammed, could be empty. It’s a 50⁄50 I’m willing to take!
Their pizza is SO good. It’s always cooked perfectly for my liking. The thin crust is perfectly crispy. Their pan pizza is well cooked!
Only complaint-​their bathrooms are typical bar bathrooms. It feels like I’m going to catch my death in there. Thankfully, I’m usually drinking too much when I’m there… so I don’t notice unless I’m sober. ;)
Oh, and by the way, the servers are great. Unless you’re an ass to them. So, consider that when you go.
