Established in 1994.
Marriage counseling has long been a focus at Pathway! My aim has been to provide marriage help. The way I word it is: I help couples restore selfless loving in marriage!
Well over a thousand have come through since Pathway’s start in 1994. While not all situations are in my areas of expertise, I will gladly tell you if I see this is the case for you and offer referrals. My work with you here, if you come, will be collaborative. After all, if I’m not here to listen to a person’s wishes, then why would I be here?! I’m here because I aim to help!

I entered this field after seeing people helped in a church homeless ministry more than 20 years ago. I realized my own ability to help people feel heard and provide care. I was struck by the variety of ways in which people go through challenges and adversity. The amount of pain some people endure can just grab your heart! Such things earn my respect!
I worked in a variety of positions and earned a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Jane Addams College of Social Work at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and became licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked in this field now for two decades, and I love it.
