AltCare provides patient centered conservative therapies. We offer multidisciplinary care for pain management of any kind — physical, emotional or spiritual. This is accomplished with chiropractic focused body work, massage, nutritional counseling, homeopathy, psychotherapy and pastoral counseling. We approach our clients with respect, exploring the most expedient and least intrusive treatment choices. If we are unable to provide this, the appropriate referral is made.

History

Established in 1986.

In practice since 1986, Dr. Haugh has served thousands of people in the Chicago-​land area. Known for her ability to diagnosis, go right to the problem and have her adjustments «hold», she provided exactly the right treatment to return her patients to active lives as quickly as possible.

Dr. Haugh has practiced in Oak Park for 24 years. Her warm smile and firm hand shake begin your visit at AltCare Health Center which she has operated since graduating from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois in ’85.

Prior to this, she headed the medical illustration department at Rush Medical Center, Chicago, illustrating books, exhibits and movies for the education of patients and medical professionals alike. At Rush she also completed a MA in educational psychology from Northwestern University.

While in practice, Dr. Haugh mastered a fellowship in homeopathy at the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy under the tutelage of Dr. Andre Saine and continues to expand her knowledge and skills.

Dr. Haughs’ degrees in art, science, education and chiropractic, coupled with her highly competent hands, converge to produce a gifted chiropractor ‘sculpting’ patients back to health and vitality while educating them on a variety of topics to improve healing and sustain well being.
