I had a fairly uneventful oil change. It wasn’t until after the oil change that the frustration happened. I drove home to Fridley(28 miles) following my oil change and didn’t discover until the next morning that my hood was not properly shut due to a «speed wrench» being left under the hood of my car. I called the shop immediately after it was discovered and didn’t receive so much as an apology let alone an explaination. The hose and spigot for my windshield wiper fluid was broken as a result of this tool being left in my vehicle and the hood not properly shutting. I’m thankful that I was able to get home safely without the hood flying open or further, more extensive damage done to my vehicle. I am very frustrated with this experience and with the«clean up» I’m left with to fix their mistakes which resulted in damage to my vehicle and mistrust in the organization.

They did a great job. Explained everything. Price was good. It was nice to be able to stay in the car and not have to take my toddler out.

I feel bad for Mr. Rick C. That sounds like something that doesn’t happen every day, for sure. When it rains it pours I guess. My experience has been quite good each time I go there, and the guys are very friendly and knowledgable. They haven’t tried to sell me anything more than what my manual said(air filter and injector cleaner every 30k give or take {2012 Kia Soul}). Each time I’ve gone I didn’t wait long, which also includes a tire rotation that was performed quickly. Overall I like this place a lot. I live in right across the river but work in Eau Claire, and I still come there to get my oil changed. Of course anything more serious and I’ll go to the Kia dealer, but for the basic upkeep I certainly recommend these guys.

Like all chains like this, they try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don’t need, just follow your owners manual. At this one last Sunday, they managed to lock my keys in my car. So it took an hour for them to figure out what to do(call the cops) and them to arrive to get my car open. I was on the hook for the liability in case anything happened, they would not step up. I ended up being late for work. Would a coupon for a couple bucks off my next oil change be too much to expect?
