Serendipity Ranch Bed & Breakfast

Wo! So beautiful. I never stayed at a b&b before but this definitely set the bar up high for us. My fiancé, myself, my little brother, and son went and it was amazing. Everything so clean and very welcoming. Nina was so patient with my little guy and whenever he wanted to feed the animals she was up for it. Such an amazing experience. We will be coming every year.

Couldn’t ask for a better B&B experience: great hosts, awesome breakfasts, clean & quiet rooms, nice fireplace room for relaxing & reading, beautiful location. We will definitely be back.

This is our second visit to Serendipity Ranch. Quiet, clean, relaxing. Nina and Bill are perfect hosts. Great hiking is available just outside your door. Fun animals and birds populate the grounds. You want to sit and read… there are many fine books in the great room. Play games? They are there too. Your room will be cozy. Lots of different coffees and teas are at your fingertips. And let me tell you about breakfast! Nina is a gourmet cook. Perfect eggs and waffles and sausage and juice. And not just your average plate of food but prepared so well you could find it in a magazine. As far as the general Oak Glen hangouts… they are all close by, but far enough away to keep this B&B secluded and quiet.
Will return again. We’ve done Valentines Day and Mothers Day… next time perhaps Apple season.

Bill & Nina Foster were the greatest hosts ever and made our stay incredibly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and hospitality that we felt right at home. Our room was cozy and warm, our surroundings were serene and the view was amazing. Then there’s Nina’s cooking… Wow! Her breakfast meal and Easter presentation were picture perfect and just as tasty.
Also, a big thanks for showing us around and allowing us the opportunity to pet and feed all the animals. As big animal lovers, we will never forget interacting with your unique pets, especially the lamas and the mini horses. What an experience!

What an amazing stay! Nina and Bill Foster are the loveliest people. The home is so charming and beautifully decorated, with tea/​coffee/​hot chocolate available at all hours and a fun and cozy family area/​TV room. The breakfast was DECADENT. AMAZING. We and our kids had so much fun on the grounds; first of all, the llama/​reindeer/​pig farm – SO MUCH FUN! There is a hiking trail behind the house that is gorgeous and goes on forever. Super comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms. Love!

The older I get, the more I feel like a boat drifting out to sea. I’m feeling like I’m losing sight of the shore or something. This surely ain’t Kansas anymore.
But every year I’m thankful for friends who «celebrate» with me in the lost, mixed, emotional feelings of getting older, and this year, Catherine and Jeremy took the cake surprising me with an early birthday weekend getaway (my B day’s in November) to Serendipity Ranch during Apple season.

This place was amazing! Great hosts, great location, very fun. The food was amazing! Make sure you get the tour of the grounds from Bill and Nina!

We had a great time, privacy, beautiful views, our Host Nina and Bill were kind, hospitable, Nina can cook! We enjoyed every single minute of our stay! We will be back.

Serendipity Ranch is warm, inviting, and comfortable. Nina and Bill have attended to every single detail including a fire going in the community living room, a notebook full of photos of wildlife, and scented soaps in the bathroom. Breakfast was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend going to Serendipity Ranch. We will be back.

Nina and Bill are two of the kindest, friendliest people you will ever meet. We brought our two kids here (twice) to stay for a night in Oak Glen. If you are coming up for a visit — STAY HERE. You won’t regret it. The grounds are stunning and Bill even took my boys on a tour of the animal area outside. We had fun feeding the koi in the pond. It’s definitely a MUST on our list. We will be back. We already have our third trip planned!

From the moment you walk in… This is an absolutely wonderful place. My husband and I spent my birthday here, Bill & Nina were amazing hosts. The grounds were gorgeous and full of wildlife, the house was beautiful and spacious, and inside even smelled so wonderful! We spent a majority of our time lounging around enjoying Gods beauty, playing games, and unwinding. Time stands still, which in our day and age, is not something that happens easily. We got to visit the animals they have there, feed the coi in the pond, and woke up to an amazing sunrise and delicious breakfast. If your on the fence deciding to stay here or not, jump off the fence and get there. You will not regret it. Nina has definitely made us into returning guests, we cant wait to go back.

My wife and I were looking for a place to celebrate our 29^th wedding anniversary without having to travel too far. Although Serendipity Ranch B&B is only a two hour drive from Los Angeles, the relaxed atmosphere is world’s away from our daily routine. Nina and Bill are the owner/​hosts and you couldn’t find a friendlier and more hospitable couple. Their place is central to all of the various shops, restaurants and activities available in the serene community of Oak Glen. Nina is a great cook and the waffles she prepared with fresh berry topping were my wife’s favorite. We plan to return in the near future.

The owners of this B&B are a wonderful couple. They have converted their home to the perfect Bed & Breakfast with all the comforts and quaintness that you would expect from an «away from the city get away». The beautiful property has several animals, birds and a lovely pond. A wonderful place to stroll. And the breakfasts are divine. My friend has already booked another stay for October. I hope to be back!

Bill and Nina Foster were wonderful hosts during our overnight stay. The B&B is extremely charming and each bedroom has its unique décor. Also, the beds are very comfortable making it for a great night’s sleep. We felt right at home and the Fosters were very accomodating of our 8 month old baby.
We awoke and enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast.
This was our first time at a B&B and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, tranquil spot away from home.

Mr and Mrs. Foster are very warm people. Serendipity Ranch is the perfect getaway, if you would like to have peace and quiet. My wife and I are not the party type, and enjoy the outdoors. There are plenty of locations on their property to take some excellent photographs. Mrs. Foster prepares a delicious homemade breakfast, and there is coffee available 24 hrs a day.
Our bed was also very comfortable. It was a large Victorian style bed, with plenty of blankets. I only wished that my wife and I would have stayed longer. An overnight trip was too quick. Also, if you enjoy reading, their is plenty of comfortable furniture to sit-​down on and read, or just observe the wildlife outside of the windows.
We look forward to revisiting Serendipity Ranch :)

This is one of the nicest B & B’s we have found. Why would anyone stay in a hotel or motel in the IE when they could stay on these enchanted grounds and share this gorgeous home with the owners, Bill and Nina. Sitting near the koi pond and watching the mallard ducks under the weeping willow is incredibly serene. The breakfast Nina made was just fabulous. Farm fresh egg frittata and home made waffles were such a treat. Nestled on 7 acres and surrounded by mountains and privacy, this was a real treat. And be sure to take a tour and meet the animals. We can’t wait to return.

We had a great time at Serendipity Ranch Bed and Breakfast! The grounds were beautiful, the house was clean, and the food was delicious! Nina and Bill are the best! They made us and our kids feel like family. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights during apple season. Bill and Nina were terrific hosts being super friendly and helpful on recommending where to go to eat and for activities. They took their time to show us all of their animals (lamas, miniature horses, koi fish, a deer, a goose and a pig. Each breakfast that Nina served us was completely different from the next but amazingly each was as amazing as the last with food matching the season… and very filling!
Their ranch sits right in the middle of all of the orchards, so everything is super convenient with just a short drive (or a walk if you do not plan on picking too many apples). Their ranch itself is peaceful – great for a quiet getaway. The ranch itself was very well cared for and clean. Everything was extremely nice.
Seriously no complaints and I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

This was such an unexpectedly delightful place! We were planning a day trip from LA with another family for some apple picking. We had read about Oak Glen on RedTri and heard about this Serendipity Ranch. After a little searching we realized they were the ONLY B&B in the whole area, so I figured we’d be at their mercy. Boy were we wrong.
Everything about the place was top notch. It is a huge, beautiful home with amazing grounds, animals galore (deer, llamas, goats, horses, koi, birds, etc.). So much room to roam. We came with 4 kids under 6 years old and it was heaven. We took over all 4 rooms so we had it to ourselves and couldn’t have been happier.
The breakfast she served in the morning was INCREDIBLE! We were even greeted with an adorable festive plate with all of our names on it, welcoming us with open arms. I never, ever thought Oak Glen would be a place I’d want to return to, but honestly… we want to return in the winter and see the snow and drink hot cider in their scrumptious living room in front of their old fashioned fire place!

We stayed here on Friday evening. The night before my sisters wedding. The couple who owns the Serendipity welcomed us as we arrived. They even greeted the bridal party with a welcome sign at the gate.
The house is the cutest thing ever! they made us feel so welcome.
Gave us a tour, showed us the rooms and got us settled in.
We had four girls in the party and rented all four rooms in the house. Each room has a fireplace and decorated in a unique and cozy.
When you stay here you have full run of the home and grounds. There is a nice spacious kitchen and you are welcome to store any food or snacks that you bring with you.
On Friday we arrived directly after the wedding rehearsal and brought plenty of wine. We sat in the living room and got a surprise of home made chocolate chip cookies delivered to the coffee table. We knew we smelled something delish!!! Just didn’t know it was for us!
The room that i slept in was so comfortable. I love lots of pillows on my bed! Big windows looking onto the pond.
In the morning you are served a huge homemade breakfast. It included fresh fruit, eggs toast, bread pudding, and on and on… We couldn’t eat all the food and they insisted on packing the rest up for us which was so sweet.
The property is so pretty. There are mini horses, lamas, reindeer and goats! The pond is full of Koi and they have food to feed them anytime you want!
This was such an awesome place to stay. I told my husband I will be taking him back in the fall. I think it will be a cool place to stay that time of year. It is after all in the middle of nowhere :)
