I called the pharmacy to find out about my prescription since I recently changed insurance and the pharmacist was very rude and snippy. I was shocked about how he treated me, I even told him I’m new to this. He obviously doesn’t care. I will not be going back there to fill my prescriptions, ever. Most people who work at the pharmacy do treat you like crap there. It’s awful. I will say, the people at the beauty counters are polite and friendly.

Walgreens, is Walgreens. There is not too much to say about it. This is a chain of drug stores. They have stores on practically every corner. Not much differs from store to store. I stopped in to fill a new prescription. I waited for it to be completed. I browsed for abut 30 minutes and they had not called my name. I went back to the counter to ask if it was ready — it was. $ 122 later, I got my cough medicine. They have to inflate prices or prescriptions. I am sure I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere(I have found this to be true in the past), but I needed it right away. What irks me is the attitude of the staff. Most of them are friendly and knowledgeable, but other times they are rude and snippy. I will never forget the time I went to fill a prescription and they asked for an insurance card. I told the lady I did not have insurance, and this would be cash. She looked at me and said(loudly) — YOU don’t have INSURANCE?! Then she started treating me like I was indigent and completely worthless. I had no problem paying cash. What nerve to judge someone just because they don’t have insurance. If Walgreens was not so close and convenient, I would go elsewhere. For my next prescription, I just might.
