Scheduled Maintenance

WJ Kuhn Automotive & Collision Center can help you setup a scheduled maintenance plan to ensure continued safety and reliability from your vehicle. While many people use the word tune up, the term is technically incorrect. Older cars used to need overhauls of wires, ignitions, pcv valves and distributer caps. Today however, we follow the manufacturer’s instructions for changing out parts unless your vehicle is experiencing performance issues.

Scheduled maintenance involves performing inspections on important systems such as the brakes and suspension, replacing filters, and changing the vehicle’s fluids. Over time brake fluid can turn acidic, and coolant slowly loses its ability to maintain proper temperatures. Other important components such as timing belts, fans and hoses will also need to be inspected for wear and tear.

WJ Kuhn Automotive & Collision Center can help keep your vehicle performing flawlessly. Whether you need new spark plugs, wires, filters or engine repair we are here to help. Our shop is ASE certified and we are also a NAPA Autocare approved shop.

Auto Body Specialists

We understand that a car accident can be a traumatic and jarring situation. Fortunately, most accidents are not fatal. Once the shock of the car accident has passed, you’ll probably get out and inspect the damage. This can be an incredibly stressful situation, but WJ Kuhn Automotive is here to help.

Since its inception in the 1940’s, WJ Kuhn Automotive & Collision Center has been a family owned and operated business. While a lot has changed over last 70 years, our commitment to quality and customer service has not.

WJ Kuhn Automotive was originally known as Kuhn Sales & Services. During those times rich men road in Zeppelins and the country was in the middle of World War II. Kuhn Sales & Service was located at 3860 S. Howell Ave and provided parts and merchandise for cars, trucks, homes and farms.

In the 1970’s the company moved 6 miles south, where it currently resides at 8511 S. Howell Ave, Oak Creek, Wisconsin 53 154. Back then Kuhn was strictly a tire retreading company. As the country changed so did WJ Kuhn Automotive. Cars became more affordable and the need for reliable auto repair shops rose. Out of this WJ Kuhn had evolved into a full service automotive repair and collision shop.
