Always up for a good bbq! The brisket was lean and delicious. The chilli was outstanding. Service average and food temp luke warm. I’d go again and ask for my food to be served hot. Enjoyed the drink specials didn’t stay for the entertainment but looks like a fun place. If I were younger man I would have rode the bull!!!

This was a big fun place with lots of tv’s for sports. The drinks were good but 2 of us had the chicken wings and got violently sick in the middle of the night. It was absolutely the chicken wings because no one else got sick. Be careful, don’t eat the wings!

Went here with my daughter earlier this year for dinner. Inside is very big & clean & cowboy atmosphere, obviously. Service was ok, the waiter was nice but a bit slow. We had burgers. They were pretty awesome. We both enjoyed them. Fries were good too. Will go back in the future if we are in the area. Prices are average.

Went here for my birthday dinner tonight. Our 1st visit ever. Place is very nice, was greeted right away and seated. Waitress came and took our drink order and asked if we were ready to order, i explained it was our 1st visit — was hoping for a suggestion but none was offered ! So we looked over the menu & settled on ribs … They are by far the best we have had since leaving Texas 5yrs ago. Moist and tender fall off the bone great. Coleslaw was awesome as well ! And the tiny corn muffins to die for ! Will definitely be going back again. Amazing place !

I really enjoy their barbecue. I have trouble getting passed the chili and wings because both are delicious. One of these times I’ll try something else. I am not much for the crowd here on the weekend nights but I do enjoy their food. 4 stars because they have smoked chicken wings done right.

Came here tonight and paid a $ 8 cover(wait $ 10 cover to see my favorite band play bc bouncer said«I don’t have change») but the band(who is known to never take breaks) had to stop for a heavyweight fight on TV. Your establishment needs to pick one or the other. Can’t advertise for a very very popular band and then gip us. I wanted to give you only 1 star, but your bartenders are great. so gave you more. (I spoke to the manager after I wrote review above. I thought he handled the situation very well. He was polite and professional. He stated that this conflict usually doesn’t occurred at BOOTZ but coincidentally did tonight and not only apologized but also bought my fiancé and I a drink. Stellar guy. Thank you!)

This was my third visit to Bootz and first visit for a Packer game. We were looking for TV’s, booth/table(not a fan of standing all game or bar stools), good food and fun atmosphere. Well we got them all today. And a Packer win didn’t hurt! ;-) Our waitress was very nice and attentive. There were good drink and food specials. We will return for another Packer game!

My husband went there with another couple and we had a blast! We will definitely be back many many times. I don’t remember the bartender’s name but she was blonde with curly hair in a ponytail and she qas awesome! Definitely try this bar if you have never been there.

Went here for the first time on a Monday afternoon. I thought the atmosphere was cute. reminded me of Texas Roadhouse. Food options were similar as well. We had the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They came out really fast and were delicious! Really thick and crunchy; think they use egg roll wraps for the outside. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with spicy rice and my boyfriend had the mushroom swiss burger with fries. Both were very good. My bf said he really liked the seasoning on his fries and I really enjoyed the rice. Our waitress, Nicki, was very friendly and did an excellent job checking to see if our food was good, if we needed anything else, and our drinks were always full(never had to ask). Will definitely be back to try their 50 cent wings on Tuesdays and taco Wednesdays!

I’ve only been to Bootz during the day on Saturdays, so I cannot speak for the place when it gets rippin’ in the evenings. HOWEVER, if you need a real burger on a Saturday afternoon and don’t mind what passes for«country music» nowadays as a soundtrack, Bootz is reliable and recommended.

Food was terrible when there were green tomatoes on my sandwich which were definitely not green tomatoes manger told my husband they colored them that way lol really. Well I certainly didn’t believe that or why would anyone want tomatoes supposedly drenched in chemicals to alter their color? The rest of the food was not good either.

Went here for a badger game. Lots of TVs! Wings were respectable. Service was good considering how crazy crowded it was. However I did not stay for the after party which I hear can be interesting. For a south suburb«club» bar it’s decent. Probably closer to a 3 ½ star.

I’m not a normal country western guy but I do enjoy a good fun watering hole. Boots had a very bright, cheerful and fun atmosphere. All of the service personnel where quick, friendly, and service was great. My drinks were good, not to strong not week. I loved the mechanical bull, dance floor, stage, and dance floor. I would come back with friends for line dancing, and I really don’t care to dance. The food well that’s why they lost a star. I ordered the brisket sandwich. I was expecting some really good BBQ. It was actually fair. The meat was tough and they only gave you a little bit of sauce. My French fries where cooked to perfection. But it was disappointing. I would not come back here again for a meal, but for drinks, dancing and snacks for sure!

This place is great! There isn’t much in oak creek and this place is better than all the other dive bears! It’s like urban cowboy(the movie with john travolta) right in my back yard! The people were nice, the bulls was friendly! Drink specials were great. The first time I was here this is where it’s at in the OC — everywhere else is dead but this place was packed!

This is sooo not my scene. I am not a boot wearing, country music listening, line dancing, bull riding kind of folk. I don’t have no flannel shirts and I never worked on a farm. I don’t have any over-sized belt buckles, and I sure as hell don’t have a cowboy hat. I don’t drive a truck, I don’t hunt, and I ain’t from the south. I grew up in the suburbs, y’all. That being said, this isn’t a bad place. People on the whole are friendly. They’ve got the standard assortment of burgers and wraps, but also have some tasty BBQ items that are good but not great. Decent drink specials, and various live events make it a no brainer if you’re into anything in the top paragraph and live around Oak Creek. They’ve got some dart boards, a dance floor, a stage, and a mechanical bull. So mosey on down to BootZ Saloon and Grill now, ya hear? Now git!

Okay. .. what? Well? How did I get here? First of all, my review should be taken with a grain of salt because: A. I tend to not like GIANT venues of these types named with a cutely misspelled word. B. I don’t care for suburban anything. C. People screaming«SAVE A HORSE, RIDE A COWBOY» does not amuse me because C1. Riding horses terrifies me. C2. I’ve got no particular affinity for cowboys and C3. I hate that fucking song. D. I’ll probably never come here again because I don’t live anywhere near Oak Creek, and my cousin has now moved away as well. And she only really came here ‘cos it was walking distance from their house. All right, that said, what do we have here? We have a loud, suburban Milwaukee bar with a bad cover band and country music. Various Miller products on tap. Overweight cheeseheads in Packer gear. Lots of big groups, baseball hats, shouting, and beer flying around. Oh, and they have a mechanical bull. If I want to throw my back out, I can think of way more appealing — and sexier — ways to accomplish that. And this is a «saloon»? What is this, the Gold Rush of 1848? Sound appealing yet? Didn’t think so! You’ve been duly warned. Proceed.

What a cool place this is with the mechanical bull, beers and wings. Went there with a few friends and had a blast. Staff was nice, bathrooms were actually clean which isn’t always the case at some of these places. As far as wings go this is a top 3 I’ve seen in Milwaukee. They aren’t shy on the cocktails either… like in money’s worth. Just don’t drive home after.

I was hesitant to come here, I hate country music but our Veterans’ group wanted to do happy hour here. We walked in and were instantly greeted by a very nice host to directed us to a large group already seated(yes, we were late). We were adding chairs to a table that was already full of people but the waitress was more than happy to help us squeeze in. We ordered drinks right away and got them served to us promptly. The servers were extremely friendly and very accommodating. We got menus and heard the specials and ordered appetizers since they were half price. I know this is just bar food but I was impressed by the quality and taste of the chili cheese fries and the rest of the appetizer plates we tried. The prices were very reasonable, and it was nice to find someplace in Oak Creek that is decent. I am happy to report that on Thursdays, they turn off the country crap music for the Brewers and/or NFL games on the large screen televisions. I will definitely be back again, especially on Thursdays(and maybe Mondays if they do the same with Monday Night Football).

I was underimpressed with this restaurant. We had a group of 6 adults and one toddler. I was informed(when I called the restaurant) that they were child-friendly. The hostess sat the couple that came in just before us, then chatted with a co-worker for several minutes before asking how many were in out party. It took another 4 – 5 minutes to push two tables together for out party. I might add, there were only 4 other groups in the restaurant. and then we still had to wait for the high chair when we walked to the table. Our waitress was polite, but undertrained. She did run and ask her manager for the answers to our questions, so for that I applaud her. Our appetizers were run-of-the-mill Sysco deep-fried special. not great tasting, not original, not many on a plate either. our drinks came after the appetizers, and I had to wonder why, because there was no one sitting at the bar, and the bartender just seemed uninterested in her job, as she watched tv most of the time. My bloody mary sat on our table, not drank. it just tasted, well, bad. i felt bad when the manager or owner(can;t remember her name) told the table next to us it was her very own recipe. everyone at the table tried it, nobody liked it. My entrée was bbq ribs and I had the side dish of butter beans, which was supposed ot be a house specialty. I was let down, as they were just cannned green beans. no texture at all. My other side dish was a baked potato, which was still raw inside. the manager apologized and offered me a replacement, but i had lost my appetite by the time i actually tried the potato, so I declined. my ribs were tough and i really had to work to get the meat to fall off the bone. And they were covered in bbq sauce that was too spicy for my tastes. however, my brother enjoyed it, so points for that one! The manager did apologize for me not enjoying my dinner, but did not offer me a discount. I voiced some of my concerns to her, but not all, as I did not want her to think i was attacking her. I really, really wanted them to be good, because we need a good rib place in Milwaukee. Unfortunatley, I will not waste my money there again. Maybe a fun place for the good ol’ boys to hanf out on a saturday night, but the food was not worth it.
