I really don’t like giving such low reviews but if the shoe fits… I went here yesterday to purchase a christmas gift for my wife. It was a violet accordian zip purse in crossgrain leather. They did not have it in the store so I had to order it. During the order, I went out of my way to give my personal email address to the sales girl so my wife would not know. She changed it in the system(so I thought) and then processed the order. As she was completing the order, she was rushing through the confirmation screens and I saw my wife’s email address appear and before I could even utter the words«Wait!!!» she pressed enter and the emailed receipt went right to my wife. I didn’t make a scene in the store. I didn’t even get angry(It’s Oakbrook, that type of thing would be uncooth.) I simply told the girl(Her name was Vicki, by the way) it’s ok and even wished her a Merry Christmas. No sooner did I walk out of the store I get a call from my wife.(Who is in tears because she was so sad my gift was given away and no longer a surprise.) Here’s the kicker. Aside from an «oops, my bad.» I was never offered anything more. A gift card maybe? Partial refund? I don’t know… A free little cheapy cheapy gift? Something! But nope. Just a half handed apology, a boot in the rear end and that’s it. Needless to say, unless the sky is falling, I will never enter this store again. For the love of Saint Peter… Customer service at a high end store at a high end mall is certainly expected. But not here.

Recently took a Coach handbag to this store and clerk was rude. it is a black and grey cloth bag and the cloth has separated at the top and bottom of the bag. I asked if it was possible to get a replacement(with $ 20 shipping fee) and she RUDELY told me it was too old(2011) and it could be sent in but she KNEW it wouldn’t be replaced. Quite honestly I have a lot of Coach bags and have had one replaced in AZ for the same reason. I thought Coach stood behind the quality of their products and didn’t know there was a timeline for replacement if there is a problem.

The new store is absolutely beautiful. I went in about a week ago and purchased a handbag and wallet. Vicky is the sales representative that helped me. I always store my designer bags inside gift boxes and they even provided one for my wallet. Very nicely wrapped by the way. Today, I received a «thank you for your purchase» card from Vicky –very nice touch! Love this place.

Very professional and helpful sales staff. I went in for two purposes. One, because this Chicago winter is reaping havoc on my purse and I needed some leather cleaner and moisturizer. Second, a zipper broke on my Coach cross body and I needed it repaired. They were out of stock on the leather cleaner but offered to ship it to me for free. I received a UPS ship confirmation within 48 hours that it was being delivered the next day. Nice. They also made my repair simple by taking care of the whole process. The shipment to Coach for the repair was all handled by the Oakbrook Coach store, in the store.

I just went in to browse the store to look at a purse I had seen online. Although I did not buy it, all the staff were very helpful. I am tall and the cross body bags were hitting me a little higher than they should and they offered several suggestions to fix it. They brought out extra straps and other buckles that could be used for extensions. They told me to put my stuff in the bag that I was looking at to see how things would fit. Also, they said that if I bought it and decided that I didn’t like it or wouldn’t use it, I could bring it back at any time for a full refund. So, if I decided that in 2 months I didn’t like it, I could bring it back(I’m assuming if it was unused). Either way, they were very helpful and accommodating and I would definitely go back.
