The only way to describe this place is sleazy (Staff especially office manager).
Go see for yourself… actually don’t.
Oh, and it’s beyond overpriced. You’ve been warned!

Some of the deals are great and why i didn’t give it 5 is some of the treatments i think are a bit overpriced and it takes awhile to get an appointment but the people there are great. Tracy is wonderful!

I’ve gotten Lazer hair and tattoo removal here and was pleased with the service. I’ll be back for more! They are pretty accommodating with the scheduling too!

No joke, this is a legit review for the Oak Brook location. I’m not a jealous rivalry spa owner. I work with cars all day, totally nothing spa related.
I purchased a Groupon and like another poster had to wait 3 weeks to get in. They really have crappy hours, so beware. I scheduled all 4 of my appointments at the same time. I showed up for the first appointment but there was no record of me having one and they were totally booked. They found the other three I made at the exact same time. I asked who specifically made the appointment on the phone with me and she said she had no idea. Then she told me they NEVER make mistakes.
When I made the appointments I was told they had to be 4 weeks apart. Now in the hustle of trying to squeeze me in somewhere it’s perfectly acceptable to have chemical peels two weeks apart? Hmmmmm. This was a Saturday.
I asked to speak with a manager and I was told by the front desk girl that «Jackie» would be in on Tuesday. I called Tuesday and asked for Jackie. Guess what? It’s the same girl! Either she was lying and was going to pretend she was the manager or … Um, I have no idea!!! Who does that?! Then she tells me that she is Jacquelyn and the other person is Jackie. Now I’m even more confused. So dishonest!
She proceeds to tell me that they have really great reviews (have you seen Unilocal?) and I should still come in for my treatments. She also said that all of these reviews are lies and they were meeting with a rep from Unilocal to get them deleted. They were supposed to be deleted today yet they’re still here. And Unilocal doesn’t delete reviews! More lies from Jackie! Shocker.
She also wanted to see my Groupon while I was making the appointment. I showed it to her and she redeemed all 4 so she could be paid from Groupon. I didn’t even use it yet! When I confronted her about yet another dishonest practice she couldn’t care less and told me that it’s just their policy to do that.
Luckily I was able to report them to Groupon and get a refund. There is no way that I could trust them doing a chemical peel on my face when they were so dishonest about things that were insignificant.
Don’t waste your time here!

Today I had pixel treatment with Tracy. And this is of the best pixel laser I ever experienced. She is careful and experienced. Thank you Tracy.

This place isn’t even worth of 1 star. Bought a groupon for 6 treatments on a small area. First session went great, however BUYER BEWARE the receptionist will refuse setting up a 2^nd appointment with you. Yes, REFUSE. She will hang up on you when you ask to speak to someone other than her, and when you try calling back she won’t pick up… I had to call back on a separate line in order to get her to pick up the phone.
Seems like there are lots of people complaining of similar negative experiences. You’re better off going somewhere else that will treat you with respect.
This company should hire someone more pleasant to represent their front desk.

If you buy Groupon deal be ready to wait for an appointment for at least a month. I don‘t think this place is so popular… looks like it‘s lacking stuff, or work hours are so limited I doubt they wait that long to get paid…

Bought a groupon in December and tried to call for an appt but had to wait two months for an opening! Then when I got there in February (!) the people were arguing behind the counter in front of me. Very unprofessional. To top it off, my appt was at 9:15am and I didn’t get seen until 10:20am, forcing me to miss my next appt for the day.

I started my IPL (laser treatment) in June and it has been the best purchase/​choice I could’ve made! I’ve always been a «sun worshiper». Grew up on a lake, traveled to warm places, and at the age of 28, it has already caught up to me. The laser treatment took years off my skin. Removed dark spots, freckles, acne marks, blemishes I hadn’t even known where there. I am in the process of doing three treatments and look forward to every appointment. The ladies that do the treatment are so professional and really make you feel comfortable. I was embarrassed to be not even 30 and have enjoyed the sun so much but they made me feel comfortable and at peace. The office is easy to find, very clean, and they do a wonderful job! It’s so quick with no recovery time! Pop and ibuprofen, and bring some aloe vera gel, and you’ll be fine the next morning. My freckles and blemishes literally flaked off and I could notice a dramatic difference within less than a week. I am so glad I chose to go with this center and procedure!

It’s been over a year since my sessions with El have ended, and a year later, the hairs on my chinny-​chin-​chin are still history. I had those damn things for over 20 years. Gross, I know, but genetics cannot be helped.
By far, this was the best experience from a Groupon purchase EVER for me. I’d give 100 stars if I could.

What a wonderful place with wonderful people! I’ve been going to Elvira for laser treatments for over 2 years now, and never have anything bad to say! I also look forward to appointments because I know she will take very good care of me. Jackie too. She handles setting up appointments very well. Always a pleasure to see these girls when I come in. 5-​star for Advanced Laser Clinics in Oak brook. Results that will last, best thing I’ve ever spent money on! I always advertise laser hair removal to my friends because it’s so worth it. You buy a package that lasts one year, you get a one-​year warranty after. Honestly, you have to check this place out. El will take VERY good care of you, and you will feel so comfortable around her.

BEWARE! This company has been at two other locations, before they filed for bankruptcy and packed up and left with all their clients’ money! They sell sell sell, make you pay big money up front for your «package» and give you a warranty they will never be able to fulfill. Once they have all the money, they quietly close and one day you show up or call and they’re GONE! The owner Mark Kolom, also owned Nuvera Med Spa so this was done to many clients… you can see for yourself if you search for them here on Unilocal… be careful!

Consumer beware. If you want a reputable, safe and doctor monitored clinic, this is not the place for you. I was there for a IPL treatment –i purchased a series of 3 to begin with. I asked if there was a doctor on the premise and was told that the doctor does not always come in and thus was not ther on that day. The treatment was painful and i kept trying to tell the girl treating me but she insisted that was part of the process. I was red and flaky when done and for the next 2 weeks, i had the worst blistering on my face, i actually had to get treated by a dermatologist. I made several follow up calls to get my money back and no shock, I was met with complete resistance from the office staff and the supposed manager of the clinic. NEVER was allowed to speak to yhe doctor. I cut my loses and decided to forego the $ 1000. A big price to pay for an experience that almost damaged my skin permanently. DO NOT go here if you care about your skin, please see a dermatologist or at least visit a medical spa that has doctors on premise. If they are reputable, they will have a physician present.
