Above all, A Pea In the Pod Oakbrook offers top-notch, personalized customer service. I had the most wonderful experience shopping for some great, core pieces that will carry me from first trimester through third. My sales associate, Yvonne, made my shopping experience one of the best I’ve ever had. She really took the time to understand my style, what I needed, my budget and never pushed anything that I didn’t love. If you were born in a cave, you probably didn’t realize that A Pea In the Pod is the Mercedes Benz of maternity clothes and might be surprised at the prices. And I do agree that they are high — I won’t spend $ 200 on a pair of «designer» maternity jeans. However, many of their clothes are designed to take you through your entire pregnancy.(They have little strap-on bellies in the dressing rooms just so you can be sure!) So price-per-wear becomes pretty darn good if you ask me. These clothes make you look and feel great. So splurging on some staples and special items here is very worth it in my opinion. And to address the jeans issue, they have a whole line of non-designer jeans. Finally, I brought my 6-year-old son along with me to shop. During the very long time I tried on clothes, the store employees were wonderful with him and even played a little. I didn’t expect them to help out with him at all — I’m the one that brought him — but they insisted that they wanted to. Love!

Great service and help. Thus location has designer jeans and other lines that most motherhood locations don’t have. Per the last review regarding the shirts with holes… you probably bought the velvet brand. I stopped buying those in regular clothes due to the same prob. it is the soft silky t-shirt material. must be hand washed. Otherwise staff is friendly, prices are on the higher end. I do not recommend if you think motherhood is pricey. Other than that I will back for my special peices!

My sole purpose today was to look for some dresses and, unfortunately, did not find any. I can’t seem to break down and spend $ 89-$ 160 on one dress that I’ll be wearing for less than three months. In addition, the quality of their apparel(Pea in the Pod brand) is not very durable. Last month, I purchased a jersey-type shirt dress. Only two washes in the delicate cycle created two small holes in the item. Also, the maternity undergarments started to fall apart at the elastic after one wash! They’ve got great style; however, for the price, quality, and the length of use, I think I’m done shopping here.
