Love Phillips. They have been here since 1928, run by the same family and standing tall here on Circuit Ave. as outsiders and t-​shirt shops try to take over.
Open year round, this small, rather musty hardware store will remind you of the ones you visited as a child. They have just about everything, from lunch boxes to place mats to nails and electric fans. Shovels, batteries, flash lights and paints are all here, with seasonal things like Christmas lights making an appearance when called for.
During their birthday week in February, we all get a nice discount. Even if you did not know about it, they offer it to you. This is the way a business should be run.
Prices are decent for the Vineyard. And the customer service is wonderful.
