Being an avid scrapbooker, I was really bummed when everything west of the Mississippi River was closing in terms of this great hobby. My sister stumbled across this store on one of her daily trips out in Illinois and passed along the info to me and I’m so glad that I’ve found a scrapbooking store! Its a locally owned store and you can tell the workers take pride in their work. They have everything here that you can imagine to make your project complete. If you’re a stamper, this is the place to go as well as they have oodles of those supplies too. Its not a cheap hobby to scrapbook, and prices here aren’t going to break the bank but you’ll for sure find that missing piece that you’ve been looking for. I cannot wait to make a trip back again and again!

Best place to go for Scrapbook supplies. Some things might be a little mores expensive, but the quality is better.

Boyfriend: What are you doing this weekend? Me: Scrapbooking sale. Boyfriend: Why? Me: Scrapbooking. Shopping. Sale. Hello! It took me three years of living in the St. Louis area before stepping foot in this store, and I’m desperately still trying to make up for lost time. Forget Archiver’s; this scrapbooking store has it beat in all ways and forms. I love that it’s locally owned. I love that the same girls always work there, and even though they don’t know my name, they definitely remember my face. I love how the owner is so hands-on and so obviously proud of her store. It’s that kind of place. They have everything. I mean everything. Stamps, Martha Stewart, those new Sew-It things that make threaded patterns, Korean double sided thin tape(to tape down thin ribbon, duh!), scrapbook storage, magnetic boards, all kinds of paper… the list goes on. It’s kinda like a scrapbooker hoarder’s dream vacation home. And it’s totally organized and neat inside! For some reason, they’ve also branched out to Republic of Tea teas and some kind of jewelry line, both of which I skip. What can I say, I’m easy, I don’t go for the bling-bling. Scrapbooking is an expensive hobby, and the store is definitely not cheap. But for a locally owned store, they have great sales. I’ve scored some great buys over the months, and they always have a room full of clearance stuff. They also have coupons they’ll email you if you get on their list. And they have a frequent buyer program for their regularly-priced stuff. So in the end, I feel like they’re cheaper than Archivers and other privately owned scrapbooking stores. They also have classes, and overall, those are expensive. The best part though are their twice-yearly amazing garage sales where you can buy/sell your old scrapbooking stuff. The amount of money you sell you get in new merchandise in the store. And it’s ridiculous how much stuff I buy at the garage sale because it’s seriously such a good discount. It’s one of the better garage sales in the area because I think the participants have a better idea of how much their scrapbooking supplies are realistically worth. I’m such a sucker for sales and local businesses. But my #200 review had to be a good one… and this place is pretty damn good.
