Sandhill Counseling

So lets face it everyone needs some help in their relationship and or life every once in a while, there are those lucky few that just have it all figured out… yeah right I think that’s like saying unicorns exist.
Recently I started going to Sandhill Counseling and specifically seeing Monica Lieser, she is a breath of fresh air in my experiences with any counselor. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable in sharing what we were going through and really bringing out the best in our conversation. I also liked that she would just hang back and let us talk and then come forward with some good profound realizations. I also like that she is very frank and forward about generally what others would shy away from, it is disarming and made me more comfortable with being open and honest.
We have been to a counselor in the past to deal with some uncontrollable life events and it was super creepy in a place that was not conducive to comfort and relaxation and the person leading the counseling was respectfully to old and out of touch with what we were dealing with.
This is not the case with Monica, she is young and vibrant, she really connects with your situation and helps you understand what your feeling. I also love that she remembers conversations from past sessions and builds on your discussions, that to me is huge, when I feel like she is attentive and is able to recall important details it makes me feel like she has a vested interest in our relationship.
I know that lot of people will not come out and say «Hey I am not perfect and I needed help», but I am a lot more fearless lately and wanted to put this out there for anyone dealing with pain & hardship in a suffering relationship. It can get better and with the right help you can come back from almost anything. I am not expecting any type of overwhelming responses to posting this but hey I like helping people and I hope that Sandhill Counseling and the counselors there can help someone reading this.
