Hotshots Bar & Grill

Had no idea we were going to be at a low class Hooters. The waitress barely looked at me and only addressed my husband (guess that’s where they get their tips?). The place was clean, but the gross outfits we just couldn’t tolerate, not flattering at all! The reviews aren’t that great already probably should have trusted them.

Service and food were typical of most sports bars. The server was polite but she was very busy. Probably could have used some help.

My first time here, and maybe our last. The salad was old, the French dressing was rancid & the wings were dried out. Seriously, the meat was crunchy!
We waited an hour to get our food, and the waitress was either so overwhelmed that she forgot, more than once, my request for silverware.
My husband ordered the pizza and said it was decent.
I would give it only one star except the beer was cold, we could watch, if not listen to, our game and the pizza was descent.

Oh wooooow. They changed the menu and put more pool tables in. I was surprised… the food was actually decent. maybe It’s because i was too disapointed before but it was a pretty good experience. ordered cobb salad and hubby ordered ram sandwich and it was very tasty.

Security here is the worst. We were asked to show our IDs at 8pm which was fine but caught my wife off-​guard. She went back to the car and after she returned with her ID she had seen me coming outside the door and as she was handing the security guard her ID she asked me if I still wanted to eat
here. She asked this because she didn’t know why I was coming outside. The security guard then inserted himself in the conversation by asking my wife if she was «copping an attitude.» My wife started to respond no but she didn’t know how to feel about being carded when he interrupted her to inform her that it sounded like she was copping an attitude. She was finally upset and said fine and reached to take her ID back when security pulled it away from her MULTIPLE times and continued to interrogate her as to her attitude. She finally pulled her ID back and, in tears now, she stormed off with me close behind. We spoke with the manager later but he said little that helped other than that he would «handle it.» Until this establishment ceases to engage in acts of verbal and physical intimidation and violence at its entrance, I will never eat here nor would I recommend anybody else to either.

Great place! Bar was clean, Bartenders were friendly. Bathroom needed a little attention, but it is what it is. Had a great time! Met some other Patrons as well! Would definitely go back!

Although Hotshots is supposed to be a sports bar don’t expect the Ofallon location to have any MMA. I asked if they could put on a UFC event on Fox. They said they won’t because it offends some of the families who frequent the bar. This means their establishment isn’t a true sports bar IMHO.
Oh well, they are free to run their business however they choose. I’m free to drive past on my way to a real sports bar.
I’d be greatful to know if their policy changes in the future.

I was disappointed that we didn’t get acknowledged by any server for a significant period of time (at least 15minutes), and had a member of the party attempt to get beers at the bar only to be told that a server should be getting our order. Finally someone apologized and took our orders, the initial bar order took FOREVER (again about 15minutes for 3beers, we had already gotten two from the bar). This place redeemed itself by the tasty pretzels — definitely order these! They were delicious! And the beer specials were pretty good :)
Dislike the scantily clad waitresses but it had my alma maters game on, definitely get the pretzels ask for extra cheese & here’s a hint add buffalo sauce it’s super tasty !

Stopped in to hot shots to grab a pizza on the way home from work. Something about that pizza is great. Caught some good sports on tv while I was waiting. Always and interesting conversation going on around the bar. Good spot. for a drink, bar food, and live sports action!

As a huge sports fan I find it hard to focus on the many sports filled TV’s, with all the beautiful waitresses walking around. They are all friendly and do a good job. The food quality is okay, but could be better. I wish they had a desert menu. The waitresses uniforms are one of my favorite things. Hot shots are what Hooters used to be, which reminds me the wings are great! I definitely recommend you give it a try!

It’s sooo loud in there and the service there was so awful I heard good things about them but it wasn’t the best the guys got better service from the waitress then the woman not going back

Hotshots has always been the go to place for all sporting events and as always is outstanding when it comes to customer service! Great FOOD!

Pretty good, can’t complain, place is huge, five pool tables and the waitresses look great. Ate some food, had some drinks, good time overall. Only complaint is the waitress took awhile and she didn’t seem to care but I would come back here again

I’ve been to hotshots a number of times and have had varied experiences. The wings are usually decent and the burgers are okay as well, but the reason for the low rating is the noise level. Its so loud in there you can’t hear yourself think, let alone have a conversation. The service has never been great either, like the waitresses use their looks as an excuse to give poor service. This is especially prevalent at the bar where the bartender is usually too busy talking with her friends than checking on customers.
To sum it up, if you don’t mind a loud restaurant with okay food and poor service then go for it.

Had the special, steak and egg sandwich with tater tots. Talk about an eye opener; it was delicious. And speaking of delish, our waitress Jenn was in jean cut offs and a camo designed tank top. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to finish my meal from watching her the whole time!

Went in to grab some food and watch a ball game. Asked the bartender if they could put my game on and she looked at me like I was nuts. Said she would ask the boss. After 15 minutes of waiting for an answer, and her looking at hoping I’d just go away, I did.
Do yourselves a favor and go across the street to Syberg’s.

So you wanna watch the game and don’t want to pay a lot for your tasteless beer? If you don’t care about a decent selection and/​or décor — come to Hotshots! Their food is subpar and their beer selection makes my liver happy. Sure, it’s the place to be in O’Fallon and it’s super close for me, but I just cannot justify spending a night here. I have come here numerous times after kickball games for our free pizza and I can barely stomach it. The grease is suffocating the miniscule amount of flavor that it had to begin with.
I wish I could say that I won’t be back, but, unfortunately, I have friends that adore this establishment.

I’m here about weekly to attend a darts game.
I’ve been to a good portion of the Hot Shots in the area, and found that I tend to like this one the best. So Far.
First of all, the darts area is kind off back in the corner, and doesn’t get much foot traffic, and can’t get any foot traffic through the darts area like a few other places. Kind of breaks up the game if you have to stop so someone can walk through.
The service is always good, I’ve had to wait a few times during shift change, but it’s never been a big deal, and even was given a free drink because I had to wait too long. Personally I didn’t even notice.
The board are always in great shape and I’ve never had to go looking for chalk or towels to keep score.
Any time that I have ordered food, it’s shown up almost instantly!
Overall a great place to play darts, (or pool), and kick back with some friends!

It is a known fact Ninja’s have a weakness for big hooters. You can only imagine the shock walking into Hotshots for the first time. Nothing say’s Sports Bar more than scantly dressed waitresses, wall to wall TV in High Definition with every sport imaginable playing and Beer! Easily a successful formula if you ask me.
This Ninja just ended a late match and decided to join some of his buddies for a late drink. Our waitress Andrea was our lovely server. The menu after 10pm is limited to only things that can be deep fried. This Ninja decided to try their tacos. It was greasy, the taste was bland, and this Ninja didn’t care because his attention was obviously not on the Taco’s. You see, it doesn’t even matter if the food sucks or were cooked in day old grease because when you have half naked girls walking around and beer you don’t care.
Around midnight a of couple of good looking ladies with equally if not bigger hooters decided to join us at the bar. They immediately attracted the attention from the 20 other male patrons there. The ladies wanted to hear some tunes and conveniently enough Hotshots has an awesome juke box filled with all your latest hits. This Ninja knew exactly what to play so I selected the unofficial Ninja them song with Buck Cherry «Crazy Bit*h». It definitely livened up the place. Around quarter to one it’s obvious Hotshots has had enough of this Ninja. You know they want you out of there when the check arrives and you didn’t ask for it. I got the hint!
This was my first time at Hotshots and the place has an ambiance similar of that of any chain sports bar. Walls cluttered with sports memorabilia and neon beer signs. The food is terrible, mostly deep fried, hot wings are a major staple, loud music and ice cold beer. Let’s not forget the hot scantily clad waitresses with big hooters.
Hotshots you get 4 Ninja stars! I cannot elaborate anymore as to why I am giving you 4 Ninja stars except the fact that last thing ingrained in this Ninja’s mind is Andrea’s hooters. I can’t honestly say if I am rating her hooters or your service, food, beer etc…
Want to earn the coveted 5 Ninja stars? Well, umm… lap dances! Lap dances will definitely earn you that 5 stars.

Went in here Halloween weekend. Their website made it sound like they were going to be having a big event or something, or that this was a place to go to drink and get rowdy. Walked in and the place was dead. Just blaring a game really loud and barely anyone there. Walked in and walked out. Can’t judge on food but atmosphere sucked and the staff just gave rude stares (sorry some of us still dress up for Halloween…)
