Gold counter was non functional. Had to wait on a long line. Car was ready, but the systems did not work. Got the Gold notification an hour later.

I rented car from St Louis Lambert airport. The staff was very courteous when they picked me up and dropped off when I came back. St Louis Hertz has a little different pickup procedure for gold members. They drop you off at a certain location where the cars are all ready. You just see the Parking spot number on the board with your name and there you go. You don’t have to ask anyone or talk to anyone. One attendant on the gate checks ID and hands the papers to you.
I would have appreciated if I was emailed the procedure beforehand (or some instructions in the car) for people like me who are not familiar with hows and where’s. I kept looking for people before I took the car out. I had no idea it was that easy :) now I wish all locations had this facility. But overall experience was good. No complains with the car too. Clean and nice car.

Used my points. Thought I’d have to pay all kinds of hidden charges but when I checked out I paid 1.80 and that’s it. Car was clean and bigger than promised. Good experience

When the bus brought us to the Hertz lot there was no one at the station. I am a Number 1 Club member and my name was on the screen but there was no information as to which car was mine. Several of us waited for about 20 min and finally someone showed up eating a sandwich and started to check us in. The reason I did not have a car assigned was a problem with my credit card which could have been resolved before I landed in St.Louis. Once that was worked out they took me to my car. I had reserved a premium car which I thought would be a Grand Marquis or similar but I ended up with a Chevy Impala with very few features. It was not the type of car I was expecting. I have been with Hertz for years and this is the first time I have had any problems. Hopefully my next experience will be better.

Helpful text on arrival specifying my car and space in which it was parked — bus dropped us off right at the space. Very cordial staff both at arrival and drop off. Our car was clean and well maintained.
I would only point out at drop off, one staffer was armed with an iPad and the other with the older «gun & holster» equipment; the iPad was so slow that the staffer called over her co-​worker with the «gun & holster» who very promptly checked us out, and sent us on our way (fortunately both staffers were available or we would’ve been waiting a long time for that iPad to respond … it would appear that someone in the «office» with a great new tech idea didn’t bother to adequately test its use in the «field»).

Waited for shuttle at St Louis airport for a long time, got to offsite location off the highway access road — wanted to trade up — took a few minutes but got it done relatively painlessly, inside of windshield dirty (few rental car companies know how to clean the inside of a windshield) — car was fine — drop off was hard to find– overal experience OK

Actually, this review should have been for the airport location, but I don’t see how to delete it after it has posted. Have rented here a few times with no major issues. This last time was probably the most uneventful: car was waiting and ready as part of gold service and return was quick and easy 3 weeks later. Only issue could be there was no air conditioning in the shuttle but the driver was friendly.

Very poor service. Clerks chit chatter with clients while 15 people stood in line waiting. No self serve terminals were working. Gold rep just sat there doing nothing. Worst service ever… period.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Had a reservation for two month prior, hertz failed to pick me up or have my vehicle ready. Had to take a beater for a rental and go to the airport to exchange. I will never rent from that location again. You lost me as a customer and I will make sure all of my friends and coworkers know that your customer service and promise to make customer satisfied is crap.
