Glamour Nails

People say I often go to too many types of nail salon. Will I go to each one and every time I get a different experience and see many types of technique. An yesterday at Glamour Nails they really impressed me with their sanitary salon. everything was just perfect. They have tons of selection of services to choose from as well as nail polish. I love how my manicure came out polish perfect and nicely shaped. I highly recommend

First off, it makes me chuckle a little. In St. Louis County, it’s all about the Unilocal reviews. In St. Charles County, it’s all spread by word of mouth. That being said, I love this place!
I’ve come here off and on for years. I don’t get my nails done often, but I love coming here when I do. Everyone that works there is so nice and friendly. The place is very reasonably priced. It looks like the standard salon. There are TV, which usually show the Travel channel, Food Network, or HGTV. All of which are very well received. I’ve never met someone who doesn’t like one of those channels. I typically get the gel manicure because I like the look and how long they last. I’ve heard from a couple of people that Tim and this one lady that sits in the front right corner are the best here. I’ve had my nails done by all of them and have enjoyed the person overall. I am happy with any of them really.

Can this location get close to home for me! I really like this location. Not because of it great staff or the amazing selection of nails colors. But the whole salon it self.
Experience:
My overall experience here today… will I came in i noticed that it was kind of packed. I did not book any appointment. (last minute) I noticed that they have recent updated magazines. Got seated for my pedi. after 15 minutes i don’t mind the wait. But let me tell you that the pedi chairs 5 stars. They are super relaxing! The staff here were very nice. Gentile with me and my rough heels. The young tech gave me a nice massage. I felt very relaxed. And i have to tell you that i left with smooth feet.
On to my hands, I wanted something different and they suggest to do gel manicure. I really like their suggestion I don’t regret it. She did a nice color for me. Did the process. gentile. I would recommend this salon. Only can wish it was closer to home for me :(Even so I am happy with my experience that the salon is very sanitary. I noticed that all tools are in sealed package. Open a clean packet with every customer. Just suggest to other Unilocalers to book an appointment if you are in such a tight amount of time. Recommend Glamour Nails to anyone.

I just moved to Mo a few months ago and decided it was time to find a salon for my bi weekly gel manicure and pedicure. This was the first place I tried and was not happy at all. The older lady was my tech, we started with the pedicure and needless to say I was unhappy with the polish simply bc she had polish on my cuticles. I kindly asked her to clean them up and in return she gave me an attitude. Whatever. So then she’s done and I noticed on my big toe it was smeared all on the side. Like did you not see that? Anyways, I told her I didn’t have enough time to do my manicure. If you did my pedicure that bad, there’s no way you touching my nails. On to the next!

The ONLY reason I checked in to this place was to write a complaint. Let me start off by saying, I’m fairly easy to please and while I don’t like writing nasty reviews, this place just sent me over the edge. It was right next door to the tanning salon I go to so I figured I would go in. It was SO convenient and right before my vacation, I really did not have any extra time to spare. However, as soon as I walked in and took a breath, I was done for. The place was packed so maybe most people don’t care, but the odor was SO incredibly strong that you could not even breath. I don’t know how people sat in there to get their mani’s and pedi’s. The guy asked if he could help me and I just turned around and walked out the door. Instead, I drove the 20 minutes (20!) to this cute little salon that had no odor and walked out happy as ever. If a salon smells, that’s not a good thing, people! DON’T get your nails done there!
