Great bartenders, great service! Laid back atmosphere, charming place. Inexpensive drinks.

I really wanted to like this place because it is right down the street from our house, but I would rather walk a little further for better food and cheaper beer. The bartenders were great, but that’s about it. If they had cheaper beer I would go every so often, but there isn’t anything appealing enough for me to go back.

I really don’t know how this place stays in business. There are never any cars parked in the lot during peek eating times like lunch on the weekends and dinner during the week. I did visit there once after seeing a review in the Nutley newspaper. The pizza was okay, my mom had a salad and dad had a burger. All were okay but I agree with another review, the place does need some décor updating.

Good place to go for drinks with friends. Friendly staff. Their food is alright, nothing special. Their thin-crust pizza is probably the best thing you can get. One time I made the mistake of getting a salad and I got sick afterwards. It probably wasn’t washed thoroughly. Also I’ve found their silverware and dishes to be dirty at times. I’m still giving this place 5 stars because I still like the service and the casual yet intimate ambiance.

Great food — Very good value — Friendly staff. Very good pizza, pasta, steak, burgers and wings. Fun atmosphere to watch the game. It was our first time in awhile, we’ll be back !

I don’t know what happened to this place. My friend and I were here a year ago and the food(pizza) was great. We went here last night because we didn’t feel like cooking. What a big change in the quality of food. They changed the menu. That’s about the only thing they’ve changed. The place looks like it did 40 years ago. We got our usual pizza and salad. The house salad dressing used to be delicious, now it’s just oil with some garlic powder and salt. No vinegar at all. What’s up with that? We were still hopeful about the pizza. Disappointed again. The pizza was flimsy and greasy. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar and the cheese tasted cheap. The waitress sucked. I ordered a beer and she waited 20 minutes to tell me they ran out of the keg. I ordered another and she served 3 other people before I finally got my beer. We had our appetizer before I got my beer and there was no one at the bar. Then we had to go to the bar to pay our bill because the waitress was too busy talking to someone. Sorry, but that’s bad service. I’d hate to see what she’s like when it’s busy. We were really disappointed and we will not be returning. What ever they did they should undo.

Used to be our spot 20 years ago. Passed by the other day due to my regular spot for a drink/eats was packed and didn’t want to deal with the crowds. Let me tell you… not a fuc***’ centavo spent inside this place since I was there 20 years ago. Dirty stained rugs; dust on the beams, my nose instantly got stuffed from the bacteria floating in the air. There was sleezy duet croaning too loudly passing off as a entertainment all combined with lackluster service. Older Thursday night crowd that should have stayed home and watched Jeopardy in the old barco lounger. Forget this place… it’s a dive that will make you sick. Can’t imagine what the heck you 4+ star people are used too, eating in caves…

EXCELLENTPIZZA, WINGS, BURGERS, ECT! The food is always consistant. The N.Y. strip steak is to die for! Very comfortable atmosphere, a real neighborhood place. Reasonable prices, friendly bartenders and servers! Great family place with a private room upstairs for parties. Would highly recommend!

Really a 3.5 star review, but they were so nice I bumped them up. So we were here Sunday for a birthday party for a friend of the family. They have a private party room above the main bar/restaurant. The space is nice for an older crowd. Its very gentleman’s club circa 1970(shag carpet still in place), but with a lot of older stained glasswork and hunting-lodge style memorabilia. The bar area in this room is very nice, old-world pub feeling. There a(very) small dance floor. It’s not something chic, but for an older man’s party it was perfect. The food was ok. 3 stars I would say. Served buffet-style for the party, there were stuffed shells(very very good), eggplant parm(not so good), sausage and peppers(good), salad(very fresh), garlic bread(fine), and BBQ chicken(which I did not try). The house wines ranged from barely drinkable to oh-my-God-can-I-spit-this-out-somewhere. The service was truly the best part. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, extremely good natured and helpful, and dealt patiently with the occasional rudeness exhibited by certain patrons. The pitchers of Bud Light or Coca Cola and the carafes of(largely undrinkable) wine were never empty for long, plates were cleared quickly and efficiently, and everything ran extremely smoothly. On our way in and out, I checked out the bar area downstairs. Its your pretty typical sports bar that caters to a local, but older, crowd. Bartenders seemed efficient and personable, and the patrons weren’t too rowdy. There is not enough parking for the establishment, nor is there sufficient street parking. There is some sort of commuter lot across the street and by the train tracks though.

This place has it going on! Some days you’re just in the mood to drink at a hole in the wall, and boy, this is it! When you walk into the Park Pub, it’s dark, it’s filled with real people, it’s perfect. During football season this is the gathering place, similar to hanging out in a buddy’s basement to watch the game. The place is void of Guidos with wind tunneled hair and hot pepper chains wrapped around their necks. Missing is the pulsating beats of techno music with chicks’ cleavage spilling forth from their ill fitting tops. If you want that, then head over to the Steak House. At the Park Pub the wings are kickass! That alone should be reason enough for people to get on the Park Pub bandwagon. Kick ass burgers and French onion soup are other items one should try when visiting the pub. The beer prices are cheap… Good wings, cheap beer. Enough said

Not as shady as expected… and we even ran into: 1. Two drunk guys wrestling and falling over 2. A girl carrying a pink blow up male genitalia plastic thing 3. Someone sprayed mace for no reason still not as shady as expected.

I love this place! When I moved from Jersey City to Lyndhurst, I was looking for a bar to hang out and watch the games, and not a bucket of blood. This is it. The food is great for a bar. The bartenders are very friendly. The prices are great, both food and bar. Although the place could use a makeover, it is about getting together with friends at a friendly place. Since I have moved to Wayne, I keep going back. for these reasons.

I’m not quite sure what to write about this place. It’s very blah and forgettable, not dive enought to be cool but not horrible. And kinda strange but there were more people there for the food than bar. Cons: old and outdated only a few small, old tvs pizza wasn’t very good dumb kids running around the hubby said his beer tasted old or dirty or somethin Pros: free popcorn the young waiter kid was very attentive Overall, if I lived next door, it would be a place I frequented, but since I don’t, I won’t be going very often.(ie. it’s not worth driving to)
