Had a pair of Ariat paddock boots repaired here — the teeth in one of the zips along the front of the shoe had broken and I wanted to have both replaced before the other shoes zip failed too. Got an estimate for the work(very reasonable considering the price of a new pair of boots) left a deposit and was given a slip to come back a few days later. When I came back, I had two new metal zips stitched into my +15 year old boots — and they work as good as new! FYI — the owner(I’m assuming) speaks very little English, so be prepared for some quick translating and pseudo-sign language to get the work done. The business is also a CASH-ONLY business, so no cards are accepted for work. Hours are Tues-Fri, 8AM to 6PM and Sat 9AM to 5PM

Disclaimer: I’ve never had any of my shoes repaired in my life. However, the heel cap fell off my Via Spiga booties. So, I went in with the pair to have it repaired. From the little Spanish I know and hand gestures, I was told he would he take off the heel caps, remove the foam padding on both to make it even, and replace it. The man asked for a contact number after he gave me an estimate and the corresponding ticket stub that matches my shoes. Four days later, I went to pick it up.(And no, I didn’t receive a call after being one day late for picking it up). End result: the heels are even, the caps match, and my shoes were nicely brushed. The comfort level has greatly diminished because the foam cushion couldn’t be replaced, but at least I can wear it again.
