Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

History

Established in 1925.

Holy Trinity was founding in 1925 as a Lutheran congregation in Nutley. As the town of Nutley grew, Pastor Berkebin reached out to new residents to invite them to participate in Holy Trinity’s growing community of faith.

Recognizing that it is no longer 1925, almost 100 years after our founding, Holy Trinity strives to be faithful to the good news of the gospel in the context of the world we live in and the lives we lead today. Because the world is always changing, we are constantly in the process of actively discerning how to be faithful people and a faithful community. You are invited to join in too!

Worship is every Sunday at 10:00am, and includes Children’s Worship formation. Everyone is welcome at Holy Trinity — no matter what.

Pastor Kristin has served as pastor of Holy Trinity since the summer of 2012. Prior to serving in Nutley, she served in downtown Jersey City and studied at the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago.
