Awesome service, purchased my middle schooler her dream iPhone 5s here USED! She is ecstatic, I saved hundreds and the phone works great. This will be my first stop for any and all electronic repairs and now new purchases.

I am sold. A great and reliable phone repair store! I am the kind of person that always tries to fix everything myself first (with varying results) — but I will not longer try that kind of acrobatics with my iPhone!
First I sent a message via Unilocal to the Novi pad drop store and Robert got right back to me with an estimate and let me know there was not need to make an appointment. When I arrived Jason greeted me and got to trouble shooting right away. I was out the door with a fixed phone in no time! Jason also let me know that I should try to return the battery that I bought because it was no good — which was great because that saved me some extra cash.
I was disappointed that the pod drop that was located in Detroit’s New Center closed (because that was right around the corner from my house) but after receiving this first rate service I would probably would have opted for the extra drive any way.

Robert rescued my wife’s phone after it decided to go for a swim in the bathroom. Other services declared it dead by drowning. The people here are honest, professional and customer focused

After taking my phone for a swim I went to The Pod Drop to see what they could do to retrieve data. While we had no luck with the phone I was very pleased with the service. Jason was extremely helpful and tried every trick in the book to get the phone back to life. He ended up not charging me, despite spending about 20 minutes taking the phone apart, cleaning the cable terminals and temporarily swapping batteries while attempting to bring my phone back to life. I will definitely be stopping here first for any future repair needs.

Took my daughters iPhone 5 in for a screen repair, this is the 3^rd time she has broken it. Service was great got the phone right in and started the repair along with the screen and LCD display the ear speaker was also in bad shape, this was all included in the cost. They spent a lot of time making sure everything was working correctly. Paid a little more then some of the other places but I believe the work put into the phone was well worth it. Also has them put on the tempered glass screen protectors, looks great. I would highly recommend for your phone repair needs, phone looks and works great.

The Pod Drop does amazing repairs, bottom line! They are cheaper than other businesses around and do a MUCH better job at repairs than the pricey places. The staff is friendly and amazing, which definitely adds to a positive experience! I highly recommend the Pod Drop over other local cell phone repair businesses. I had shattered the screen on my iPhone 5c and refused to pay verizon $ 250 dollars to use my insurance and in turn get a refurbished phone. I went as long as I could before the screen shattered even further. I decided to take to the Internet and see what places were around that could fix the phone for me. After reading reviews on here I decided to go with the pod drop in novi. I went on Saturday. I was greeted by a very nice and honest man at the front desk that looked at my phone and told me it could be fixed! He quoted me my price and told me it would be a 20 min. Wait. Within 10 min my phone was fixed! It looked brand spankin new and has been working perfect. I can’t explain what a life saver this was to me. I got to keep my existing phone not wait for verizon to file a claim and send me a refurbished phone. I paid less and can save my insurance for when I really need it (if I lose is it). I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an honest business and speedy work on your phone especially if you are in a jam and need it fixed fast! Thank you pod drop!

Dropped my iPhone 4S off at 12:30 in the afternoon with a cracked front and back screen. The total cost was $ 105, which I thought was pretty reasonable, as I had gotten estimates for over that price to just fix the front screen. I came back an hour later and my phone was ready to be picked up (a half hour earlier than I had told them I would be back), and it is as good as new.
The staff was super friendly, super helpful, and super accommodating. I will definitely be returning with any future repair needs.

Speedy, friendly service, and while the prices may be a little higher than competitors, it’s definitely worth it.
My daughter shattered both the front and back on her iPhone 4 some time ago. We took it to a iPhone repair service in Ann Arbor who repaired it for a slightly lower fee (they did not use Apple authorized parts — there was no Apple logo on the back). Two days later, the front of the phone shattered AGAIN when she tossed her jacket (with the phone in her pocket) into my car.
We took it to the Pod Drop of Novi this time. They replaced all the parts with proper Apple-​certified parts, and told me that «Whoever repaired this phone previously did an awful job.» Apparently screws were missing inside the phone, the parts were really sub-​standard (quality-​wise). This was why, they said the phone probably shattered so easily the second time around.
Pod Drop of Novi fixed the phone promptly, courteously, and properly, with parts that meet Apple’s (and this customer’s) exacting standards. My daughter has as yet to break it again… :-P

I had the lock/​power button fixed on my iPhone 5. I dropped off the phone at lunch and picked it up after work. So far so good, however it’s only been a couple of weeks. My only gripe was the $ 90.00 cost, it still beats paying the replacement cost at the apple store though. Friendly staff as well.

Like your typical careless dummy, I dropped my iPhone on my driveway and the screen shattered horribly. I took it to this Pod Drop simply because the location was convenient for me… I was expecting typical electronics-​store service: a little rude, a little pushy, and a big rip-​off. I was so pleasantly surprised! I forgot the name of the gentleman who repaired my iPhone, but I think he may have been the business owner. He was extremely helpful, kind, and friendly, and above all, did an excellent job on my phone. It’s as good as new, and the price was reasonable — he gave me an internet coupon they’re running even though I didn’t know or ask about it.
This is what great business ownership is all about… and it’s so nice when something that’s inherently a hassle (like getting your phone repaired) is made a little bit easier. I will definitely return if I ever need another repair — and recommend it to anyone I know.

I was a bit worries when I saw few poor reviews of another Pod Drop store in Farmington, but I’ve decided to give this Novi store a try. What a pleasant surprise! Ken went beyond my expectation in repairing my iPhone front glass repair.
In fact, the first set of glass he has placed appeared defective (at certain angle, you’d see this blue hue, making difficult to see the screen), so Ken suggested to replace it with another one to see if this was a defective glass issue or not. I was like, «if this is the part quality issue, I don’t want you to waste your time re-​doing the work.» To this, Ken said without a hesitation, «well, lets try it and see.»
The 2^nd set of glass is PERFECT; as good as new!
It’s so wonderful to see business owner going extra mile ensuring customer satisfaction (you rarely come across it, frankly). As long as this Pod Drop is owned by the current owners, I’m planning to spread good words.
My iPod is acting up a bit so I’m going to take that next :-)
